Gods, Stellaris?
I remember that all too well.
(Ok, this comment turned into way more then I thought it would and I think you have already received much of what I had to say in earlier comments. I know that you said that my concerns already will be addressed in later chapters but I just feel the need to comment on how I feel so far about season 2).
In my comment about conflict and personality before I was very vague but now I feel the need to explain myself a bit better because this chapter is a good example of a problem the second season has had so far now.
Of course, first is the matter of the writers intention with this story. If the plot/story is just an excuse to write about clop then this has little meaning but if the story is supposed to add to the kinky or if you are trying to tell an actual story then this might be a bit more relevant. If you want to discuss or just comment on what I have to say then please to do so. I would appreciate a discussion.
So, the problem? The main characters has lost their value. Or rather, everyone except Sunny, Maud and Starlight. What do I mean by this? Well, I would argue that for example Twilight has become "unnecessary". That is to say, you could replace her with more or less any mare and it would have no effect on the story. Heck I would go so far as to say that in case of this chapter it would actually improve it. Why? I am not sure how to explain it but I will try. In order for degrading for example to work the degraded needs to have value in order to be degraded (or that is what I think at least). But Twilight has lost all her value in this story and as such there is nothing left to degrade. This means that spiting on her and such is more kind of stating facts about her then trying to humiliate her at this point. While yes, she IS Twilight Sparkle that we all know and love but that only worked in the first season when she had value, meaning/purposes, status, honor and such that could be degraded. One shots can do this and chapters that has no continuity with each other because the "reset button" is pressed so to speak after each installment. But this is a story were the chapters build on each other and so the mindset from the previous chapter remains (am I making any sense?). As such, it's nothing new/unexpected and so just becomes... Facts?
Now, it is important to separate two things here: perversion of concepts and perversion of characters. You have no problem when it comes to concepts such as the foalcon in this chapter. The foals have no character and as such could be replaced with any foal but it is the concept of them that is the point. What effect then has Twilight that hinders this chapter? Because Twilight is the mother and so the concept of defiling her daughter in front of the mother does not work. Like I said, because Twilight has no value and so no expectations it kind of becomes... Not surprising? It lacks impact so to speak (this goes for Rainbow and Rarity as well). And this has been a problem this season so far. The concepts work but not the characters.
And this is a problem that almost everyone has. Comet for example. He is a dragon that fucks. Thats it. He has a name but if he was died and was replaced by a guard then it would not make much difference story or fetish wise. Zealous is a friend to Sunny (I think) but other then that there is little differers if you replaced him with one of his sons. Sunny got a bit of back-story that explains his attitude, Maud values Pinkie Pie and wants to protect her and Starlight has a conflict were she does not want to give in. The first season had more of this. There was a conflict, a risk, a reward and other such things that made for some plot. Even if the result was more or less guaranteed the journey was enjoyable.
Ok so do I have something to suggest or am I just going to complain? I can think of two examples, one of which I am unsure about and one that I do not think fits. So the one that I think does not fit is "replacement". By bringing in new characters constantly to repeat the process on with just enough variation to it to keep it fresh. The one I am unsure about is "recycle". Value comes from meaning/purposes. By giving the characters meaning they will gain value and value can be degraded. Then repeat. Give meaning, gain value then degrade it.
I had a better version of this in my head so I do not know if said everything I wanted or if I even came across as understandable but... Oh well.

You do make sense to me. And yes. We are basically moving to other characters since the mane six are basically f**k material and how they were supposed to be portrayed in the beginning. However, here is something you should know, the characters that are basically taking over the limelight really shine out on the forest planet and then so on. Sunny gets more...backstory as it were, Maud and Starlight get more screen time, even Ember and Desta. Heck, Anna is getting back into it soon. In fact, as the writing went on, it became obvious to us that the mane six needs to be replaced. We will literally get a new mane six if you start counting. And as for Zealous and Comet, me personally, I kinda consider them like the Mare Mayor and Big Mac of the story. They are there, sometimes for show, but they serve a purpose in the background. It mostly not shown or stated a lot, and it does need to be stated, however, we do try here and there, but the story for us is on the 'new' mane six that will be made.
And you are right in the fact that this story started out as 'What can we do fetish wise to the mane six?' story. Just clop material. But then it became so much more as time went on. I kinda want to continue this until we run out of ideas or we decide to end this story after finding a place to stop...either or. Honestly, it feels kinda fun and free to let loose and just have fun with this stuff with no idea of stopping...unless it is something truly disgusting, like scat...ew.

(I hope you do not mind me commenting on what you just said because it was quite interesting).
"Replacement" does has it's charms. The reason why I thought it did not fit was because of the story description (the part about the actual story that is, not all the warnings). It told me that the story was about the "girls and their friends" and "can the heroes of yesteryear be able to live in today's world without falling into the same acts that even a foal has done?" This is a good description for season 1 but as you said the "heroes" are not going to be heroes for long (or at least not many of them). This is just a suggestion but perhaps a updated description or a new one for season 2 to avoid confusion? And/or a "replacement chapter" were the old heroes are "officially" replaced as main characters. That is perhaps the only way left to degrade them and wow... Thats degrading.
Now that you mention Ember and Desta I remember I had something to say about them but forgot. (This is just commentary on the chapters so far of season 2 as so far I feel season 2 have tried but have not quite succeeded) the two of them are a bit strange to me as they are not, as you put it "f**k material" but at the same time kind of are. F**k material with personality is what I like to say as they still talk with attitude but do not have any value. They are there to be used and they have some flavor to make them special but are not really that important as of now.
About Zealous and Comet when you say they are like Mayor Mare and Big Mac. I think Mayor Mare and Big Mac have very different importance to the show. To me the importance of a character is determined on the effect they have on the story. So if they were removed or replaced, what would change? Mayor Mares only function (at least in the show) is to be the mayor and at most she has a connection to Applejacks family because she was the one who made her parents marriage official. But other then that, not much is lost if she lost an election for example (at least from what we know). Big Mac however can not be replaced as he is the brother to Applejack. If he "disappear" then for example that is going to have lasting effects on Applejack. So this is were I wonder about Zealous and Comet. What type of characters are they? Do they have a deeper connection to the main characters and/or the story? That it has to be them or things will notably change or are they just supposed to fill a function?
Now that last part you said was very interesting. What do you mean with "so much more"? I do not mind if the story is just spice to the fetish but clop stories with a theme or even a message often have my respect (and thank you for no scat. I salute you for that).

Say what you will, but FoE indeed kept more of the show characters in-character. Including the ones brainwashed into wanton slave sluts.
8604010
I say that I agree with you. But I think the authors does too.
8606511
Yeah. I do wonder if it would've been better to make that change into a sequel, however, instead of the second arc of the same story.
8606954
I am unsure of how much of a difference that would make?

Then that story would set out with its own collections of tags. You see, the Mane Six are tagged here and for the first half that made sense, but if they no longer have any important role to play in the narrative, the tags don't reflect that. Maud Pie and Human aren't even tagged, for example.

True.
