A Choice to Change History Part 2

Washington D.C. June 14, 1941 POV: The President of the USA, Franklin Roosevelt

"We are our choices." - Jean-Paul Sartre

FDR sat in his office at the White House. He looked at the sheet of paper he had been given earlier by his secretary. This paper, or rather what was on it, would change global history.

Presdent Roosevelt sighed, "It appears they have made the wrong choice. Now we must all live with the consequences."

DECLARATION OF WAR
June 13, 1941
We the ponies of the Diarchy of Equestria hereby declare war on the United Kingdom, the French Republic, and the Republic of China. We do this not out of greed, but rather in order to achieve peace and harmony in this world. We have attempted to procure a peaceful end to this war, and see no other option. Thousands of innocents have died in this war and it is in the best interest of the Equestrian populace to enter the war in order to achieve a quick and timely end to it.

Therefore it is of great displeasure and reluctance that this declaration is announced. However in order to secure the peace and harmony of this world it is of the upmost necessity and importance. We urge the United Kingdom and its commonwealth and its allies to surrender to reasonable terms made by the victors.

Author's Note:

Well they have joined the Axis. I did this because
A: I have seen many stories with them in the Allies and I wanted to do something different.
B: I have a plot for them in the Axis.
C: They don't know how evil the Axis is so it is not that far-fetched as the only Germans the Equestrians have had to meet are Hitler (who is not showing his true self), Heinz (who is somewhat nice), and Rommel (also a kinder person; Twilight and co. met him in Germany).
D: Because it is my story and if you don't like the way this is going read something else, I don't really care either way.

Fluttershy and Rarity signed it mostly out of peer pressure and out of loyalty to the Princess and Twilight (who supports her desicions)

Also this was just the declaration. This was not meant to be a long chapter sorry to disappoint. You can think of it as a add on chapter to A Choice to Change History if you want.

Two names in the declaration are missing. It is purposeful. If you can guess why they abstained you will get a mention or something next chapter. -Silver009

I hope that Equestria will find the truth soon and they will oppose against Axis.
(Expression on their faces when they find a truth will be priceless)
Still I think that even then, Blueblood and some kind of unicorns supremacy will stay with Axis.
And then both sides have magic but one only unicorns (but with black magic) and another, all tribes (but ,,limited by morality ").

I hope that everything will end well ............and all Nazis will die.

I just can't see this happening. Celestia might not know about the concentration camps, but the Axis powers are openly trying to grab other people's territory. That's a good indication of who the warmongers are.

The Soviet Union was attacked via Operation Barbrossa on June 20th 1941. Equestria declared war on June 13, 1941 therefore did not declare war on the USSR. As for Applejack and Luna, I told you to guess right?

I did this for many reasons.

1: This is a different direction then most stories go. I want something different.
2: I want the ponies to see the harsh reality of war and the horror. The best way to see this is by being on the worse side. As one lesson from this story is war is a horrible thing.
3: The Allies at this time did not truly know about the concentration camps. The Soviets were the first to discover them in Poland in 1943-1945. At this point both sides look on the somewhat same moral ground. Also Hitler has told Celestia the tragic tale of the Treaty of Versailles and the suffering of the German people. He has neglected to tell that he thinks the Aryan race is superior and that Jews are a threat to Germany.

Again the Treaty of Versailles. Hitler did not tell Celestia about how Germany was one of the main offenders in WW1. Also Hitler and Heinz both German have really been Celestia's only access to the history of humanity. Both are biased to the German side. Hitler told it to her with no context. "Germany wanted the Danzig Corridor which is rightfully German. We tried to take it back. The British and French declared war on us." I did not include that he said this but it can be inferred that Hitler has told the Princess how the war started with a very biased view.

7565438 Canada was British. Spain France and Britain owned land in north America, and most was lost to Britain. Canada became independent before 1939, so you're right on the second part. The french lost to the British at least twice in North America.

Keep in mind, in this day and age, the Zionist apartheid state of Israel, and the military industrial complex that bolstered it after the war along with the petrodollar system that funded it and turned the middle east into the battlezone we know it today, were created by the very financial groups(Rothchilds, Rockefellers, IMF, etc.) the nationalists behind the Axis powers wanted to eliminate. They were misguided, but not virtueless. Perhaps the more direct involvement of the ponies could unmask the shadows behind both sides that would poison the world in the decades to come.
