"Ok, next I need the purple fabric," Rarity told me. I had to get it by hoof as my horn was cracked, making it dangerous for me to use my magic. After getting the fabric, I decided I wanted to know more about her past...
"Um, Rarity? How did you get you cutie mark?" I really wanted to know so I have a place to start searching for mine. Just as she is about to say how, we heard the sound of crashing near our location. "Um, what was that?" I asked, really hoping it wasn't another manticore.
"I don't- " she didn't get to finish as we heard more crashing. I took a step forward in hopes to figure out what was causing the sounds. I barely left the room when I heard a shriek of pain.
"Rarity!" I yelled, rushing back the way I came. I only took five steps back into the room when I felt something hard hit the back of my head, knocking me out in the process.
"Why does this have to happen every time I go anywhere?" I groaned as I got up. I was in what looked like an enclosed room with only one door. I tried to move towards it, but felt something pull my neck back. "What?!" I exclaimed. I looked behind me to see a chain that was leading to.... me? Straining to look down, I finally noticed that my neck was in a cast iron collar, though my necklace was still visible. 'Why didn't they take my necklace? Don't they know I can call for help using it?!' I was about to tap my hoof on it but I hesitated. I didn't want to rely on calling for help every time I get in trouble. I then, however, realized that I was helpless as my horn was still healing, cutting me off from my magic. 'Great..." I thought sarcastically. This time, without hesitation, I tapped the necklace with a hoof, all while saying, "Mom? Can you hear me?" When I got nothing in return, I started to panic, though that quickly ended when I heard a voice.
"Sunny? Why are you trying to contact me at this time of night?" A voice said angrily.
"To make a long story short, me and Rarity were foal napped." She was quiet for a few seconds.
"How?!"
"I was hit in the back of the head with something heavy, though I don't know how they got Rarity. And before you ask, I can't use my magic because there is a crack in my horn."
"How did you manage to get a crack in your horn?!" she said in a worried tone.
"I risked myself to save Fluttershy from a enraged manticore. I gotten two broken legs, numerous gashes, and a pretty big crack in my horn, I was out for two days."
"Ok, where are you then?" she asked, which I finally realized something.
"I don't know, I'm in an enclosed room with only one door and an iron collar around my neck, and said collar is bound on the wall opposite from the door." I informed her.
"Well, that is a problem, then," she got quiet for a moment, "Try to escape without the use of your magic, and find Rarity. I'll send out a squad of guards to try and find you two." And with that, the connection broke.
'Great....' I thought until I saw something that I didn't noticed before, a key? Picking it up, I felt around the collar that was on me to try and find what could be a keyhole to unlock the collar. And as luck would have it, it was on the back of the collar. After about ten minutes of trying to unlock the collar, I finally got the key in and managed to turn it. This caused the key to dissolve into nothingness, I started to get worried before I heard a faint click, which was followed by the collar falling off my neck. I just stood there is shock, not knowing what to do. That quickly changed when I heard voices getting closer to my position. As quickly and silently as I could, I hid in a blind spot next to the door. I stayed quiet. Shortly after, a unicorn was thrown into the room, with the collar magicly attaching to her neck. After the door closed, I move towards her to try and wake her up. 'This should be easy...' I thought as I nudged her side, "Rarity, wake up." Nothing happened. More forcefully, I nudged her again, "Rarity, wake up!" This seemed to do the trick as she let out a yawn before opening her eyes.
"Wh- What happened?" she asked.
"To make a very long story short, we were foal napped." I explained, "I already got out of the bindings because one of them were stupid enough to leave a key in hooves reach."
"Bindings?"
"Look at your neck."
After a quick glance at her neck, she looked back at me and said, "Now, how are we going to get this off?"
"I have an idea, but you might not like it," I warned her. Before she could respond, the world around me seemed to turn black and white.
"Sunny! Where did you go!" Rarity exclaimed. I took a look around and noticed strange symbols coming from various sources, including the bindings.
"Rarity? I think I know how to get you out." To this, I got no response, which worried me. However, I was pulled from my thoughts when I felt something strange happening to my horn. I looked up to see that it was glowing with a silver tint. A few moments later, the color returned to the world. "I think I know how to get you out of the bindings," I told her. Focusing my magic into a single spot via beam, I started to cut through the material, though slowly. It took about ten minutes before I finally got her free. But before we could celebrate, we heard yelling. "Scatter!" I whispered harshly, hiding behind a well placed desk. I heard hoofsteps in the room, closing on my position, and thankfully, away from Rarity, who was hiding under a bed on the opposite side of the room. Though once again, the world seemed to lose it's color. I tensed when one of the guards looked at me, but he didn't seem to see me. 'Am I invisible?' I wondered. Testing it out, I got out of my hiding spot and sure enough, they didn't notice me. Deciding to use this to my advantage, I went from guard to guard, knocking each one out silently while the others' backs were turned. Soon enough, all of the guards were incapacitated. The world regained its color.
"H- H- How did you do that?" she questioned.
"To be honest, I don't know," I admitted. If I could learn how to control this, I could really use this to my advantage in battles. But then a thought came to me. 'Could I will myself invisible?' Following the thought, the world seemed to lose it's color again, causing Rarity to gasp.
"Where did you go?!" she panicked. I willed myself back into existence.
"Right here," I told her, I moved from my spot while invisible, just to freak her out. After seeing her reaction, I told her we need to move, me being invisible while Rarity had to be more stealthy. Along the way, I was knocking out guards, who I realized were changelings, to make a path for Rarity to continue on. A few minutes later, we finally made it out... right under canterlot. "Let's keep this to ourselves, ok?" I ask Rarity, who just gave me a nod. As we went our separate ways, my necklace started to glow purple.
I was pacing while I was waiting for my mom to get up, although I agreed not to mention this again, I just had to tell her. After what seemed like forever, the door to my old room opened. "Sunny?" my mother asked.
"Over here." She made her way to my bed as she proceeded to check me for injuries.
"I'm glad that you're ok," she told me while embracing me, "Though, how did you get out?" she asked curiously.
"One of the guards left a key in my cell in hooves-reach," I told her, "A big mistake if you ask me." I then proceed to tell her what happened, though when I told her that the guards were changeling in origin, she paled a bit.
"I'll have a dispatchment of guards look into this, but for now, just rest up," she said, worry evident in her voice.
"Mom? What are changelings anyways?" I asked.
"That's not for you to worry about right now." I pouted at this.
"Fine." I said in a huff. After a few minutes after I lay down, I drifted into slumber.
After I returned to Ponyville the next day, I got a bombardment of questions from my friends. I decided that they had to know more about my past, at least more of what I could remember. We decided to meet at Canterlot to reveal what really happened that day, while leaving out that I'm an alicorn. That's for another day. "Girls," I told them, "What you're about to hear may sound far fetched, but I swear it's the truth." After getting a nod from each of them, I took a deep breath and finally said, "Fluttershy, remember when I told you I was adopted after the incident?" Another nod from her, "Well, my foster mother is Princess Celestia." I saw the looks of shock on the other mares' faces. After a moment, Rainbow laughed.
"Nice joke, Sunny!" Rainbow laughed, which immediately stopped when saw my face, which was showing no amusement. "You're joking, right?"
"Mom, you can come in now," I called out. Almost immediately, the door to the room opened to reveal the Princess, causing the other mares to gasp and immediately drop into a bow. After a few more moments passed, they all came out of their bow, which led to Rainbow saying...
"Princess, is what Sunny saying true?" she asked, only to get a nod in return. "So, that makes you royalty, then," I gave her a nod of my own. This caused her to immediately pale and dropped into a bow.
Sighing, I said, "Rainbow, we're friends, you don't need to bow." I was never one for glory or attention, so I usually kept to myself, though being in Ponyville helped with my shyness. A few minutes later, they finally came out of their shock. After denying Rarity's request to make me a dress for my now revealed status as royalty, and convincing Pinkie not to throw a party, as I wanted to keep this a secret for as long as possible, I told them that our 'meet' was over. After returning to Ponyville, we said our goodbyes as we went our separate ways for the night. After I entered my house, I decided to turn in for the night, drifting off into slumber in just a few minutes.
Before I begin, I want to say that changing the story's rating from E to T was probably a good move; things were starting to reach T-level even before these chapters.
Generosity Ensured
There seemed to be a bit of a tense conflict at the start of this chapter (that is, some was in present tense, and some was in past tense). Make sure to keep the tense straight. You seemed to be using past tense throughout the story, so I'd stick with that (except in dialogue, of course, where tense can change easily).
I liked the potential for future conflict between Sunny and Rarity mentioned in this chapter. Conflict makes a story interesting, even if the conflicts are small. Knowing that Sunny and Rarity might disagree on future activities or plans gives the potential for a more interesting story.
I would've liked to have more detail on the fight with the manticore. After all, Sunny was finally putting her fear aside to help her fallen friend. This was a pretty big deal, and the internal struggle between her righteous fury and her tremendous fear would've made for a great read as she was going toe-to-toe with the object of her greatest fear.
Captured
I'll be honest: The information about her enchanted pendant calling for help really should've been mentioned in an earlier chapter, especially when Celestia gave her the pendant in the first place. As it stands, it seems like a pull from thin air and hurts my willing suspension of disbelief. Even if she knew the pendant's enchantment when she first received it, there's no problem with Sunny still not wanting to call for Celestia. It'd be no stretch of the imagination to think that this would be the first time she called for help since she got the pendant four years back, especially with her horn broken (which her friends really should've told her about, unless it happened over the course of her dream).
I also don't think Celestia would be angry with Sunny for calling her using the pendant, even if it were late at night. After all, Sunny was tapping into Celestia's enchantment, the enchantment that allows Sunny to call for help. Celestia would surely realize that something was wrong, since Sunny has never used that enchantment before then. Not only that, but Celestia is overall a very patient pony who must be used to dealing with things coming up late at night, so I'm sure she wouldn't get angry over this.
Lastly, I really hope that this whole escapade goes somewhere. I'll be honest and say that the ending was somewhat disappointing. Sunny breaks out due to guard incompetence, learns a new spell just at the nick of time, leaves with no problem at all, and goes home after agreeing not to bring this up again. Everything just sort of happened with no suspense. They even didn't seem to question why there were Changelings underneath Canterlot, which is a pretty big deal. All I can say is that I hope this chapter actually means something in the future. After all, you could've chosen many different ways to add Rarity's piece to Sunny's pendant, and you chose this scenario. By now, I trust you enough as a writer to know that you tend to revisit important events, and I'm sure this is no exception. Even if this is a hook for a future adventure after Nightmare Moon's defeat and Sunny's story to Twilight, even if this is a hook for "A Canterlot Wedding", I'd like to see this revisited. It can lead to a very interesting read.
Conclusion
This review might be shorter than I usually write (then again, it might not be), but that just means there's less I felt I needed to comment on. There were some spelling and grammar errors, but a good editor can easily knock those out without me having to pick the story apart for them.
I'm certainly interested in seeing where this is going, especially now that Sunny's pendant (if I recall correctly) has all five of Twilight's friends' pieces in it. I look forward to reading more of the story. If you update and notice that I haven't given your work a review, don't hesitate to notify me of your update. It's very possible that my notifications failed to notify me of your new chapter, and I'd hate to miss giving you valuable criticism due to something neither of us can control. Good luck!
6600259 Just to let you know, I updated this chapter (Captured) and Generosity Ensured, adding more detail to the manticore scene.
6601215 Wonderful. I'll take a look and give a mini-review of sorts (really more of a paragraph) about the changes.
Cracked horn and 2 days after having her legs broken fells a little fast to heal (healing spell?), hove did she preform the spell with it damaged ?
Like Iceceammac said you probably should have to ous about the neckles earlier, the way you told ous about the it made me think it was some way for Celestia to spy on her or a detection device for the elements.

To respond to your comment about it being too fast for her to heal, this is a world of magic, so logic stands that they could have a spell that can speed up the process of healing bones.
To be honest this chapter started to be somehow good, maybe because there was nothing that exactly looked like a timeskip again.
I liked the part where Rainbow bowed to her, I actually would be interessted to see someone that won´t say anything against them bowing to an Alicorn. I mean I liked that she was humble, but it is something that is interessting to me right now.
