My name is Winter. I am a griffin brought by a goddess to a world of magic with no goal in mind, but that doesn't stop me from creating enough chaos to make discord blush and having a kid..

Yay i can proudly say i read every avaliable chapter up to this one in one day due to my strangely fastish reading abilities...
to hell with me...
6113539 Oh really? yOU THINK YOUR READING ABILITIES ARE GOOD. I read the entire eragon series in 14 hours, plus I took a comprehension test three days later and got 100% Your abilities need more abilities.

Eragon is a pretty good series, if I may say so myself. On that note, challenge accepted. I've been meaning to go back over that series at some point. Oh, and for the sake of actually commenting on the story in the comments section, badass scythes are badass.

comprehension tests aren't hard to ace when you have a method for quick memorization of important information. Try getting a composite score of 31/36 on the ACT without ever studying for it on your first try. My second try my composite score was 34/36, including a perfect 36/36 on the science section. At least that test actually looks for critical thinking skills instead of just comprehension.
Also I recommend that you learn additional speed reading techniques. Try to push the limits of comprehension and speed. The inheritance cycle is about 904K words long, according to Paolini himself. If I go at my fastest safe reading speed for maintaining full comprehension while still being fast, I can read it in about 17 hours, 43 and a half minutes. Assuming I put in 8 hours a day reading (which I regularly do) I can finish it in under 3 days, while still maintaining full comprehension. You can probably do this too if you put in some effort.

I don't exactly have a photographic memory, but when I did a test... I can't recall what it was called, but I did know the entire province did it before entering High-school... I scored in the top 3 of my city, top 5 in the school district, and top 10 in the province for memorization, comprehension, application of information, and retention. Canadian's don't have an ACT test.
The literacy test used is completely random and depending on the size and difficulty of a book. The questions can be anywhere from a multiple choice to writing a full 2000 word essay about a single paragraph, chapter, or act. Now, add four books Eragon around 157k words. Eldest 213k. Brisingr 254k. Inheritance 280k. Give them each a 500 question test with an essay about the history of the world, the language of the elves, the dragon riders culture, the races of the world, and the War against Galbatorix, AND, try to score 100% on each with only 14 hours to fully read, 6 hours to fully absorb the information, 8 hours of sleep, and 2 hours for each test. (Not after each other. I had school after all.)
I said challenge accepted and delivered, but I'm not doing that again! Seriously, the only reason I even tried was for a PS3. Which I won btw. It wasn't healthy.
