It seems like a horrible idea to assign a manipulative courtesan to help a guilt-ridden war mage. It seems even crazier to pair a insane dominatrix with a veteran plagued by nightmares. But remember, love always appears in the unlikeliest of places.
Again, title's a bit long. I see that even though Rosy's gotten better, she's still got a few issues, but Lace has more. Lace does seem to have a point that Celestia could done more to prevent these things, but at least she's doing her best to make things better. Yikes, Golden Lance has his issues. Hopefully Lace can help heal his mental scars (not his physical ones, she likes those).
5053744 I was rather impressed, on my part. With both pairings. Quite the matches.
Sheets and Barding both believe themselves top players in acquainting themselves with the opposite gender and they'll probably make each other go mad with the amount of innuendo. I wasn't expecting that, but it's a psychology that works.
On the other hand, Lance and Lace: Balancing each other out. Where Lance is a proper Rimmer (that's the word I use for people who think that they need to be in charge of something and don't take it well otherwise), Lace is the outright Lister, who doesn't take Rimmer's smeg and drives him nuts. They balance each other out and might learn one or two things from and for each other.
Something tells me Lace is going to end up pushing her luck too far sometime in the future and that she's gonna find herself in a position where she definately has little more control than to stare fearfully at a stallion caught in a traumatic memory of a bloody battle, hoping he will not kill her. Quite frankly, it's a situation she deserves to experience, if only for the reality of what she agreed to to settle in for her. I will allow that she had a hard past and that she was definately abused. What Lace doesn't understand, however, is that having a sad, abused past in no way gives her the right to abuse others, or to think of herself as if nopony could have had it worse than her. Yes, what happened to her was bad. No, it does not give her a free ticket to become as bad as the ponies who abused her, as she seems to think. I suppose such is the tragedy of characters like her.
Part of me does question the logic behind this program; putting prostitutes untrained in psychology together with soldiers suffering from their war experiences and traumas does not immediately come across to me as the smartest thing to do. Then again, we wouldn't have a story, otherwise, would we? So I can live with it.
I think Lace should be able to crack her tail like a whip, maybe even as a self defense method??? I loved how she handeld Lance, I can just see him bashing his head against the wall as Lace keeps on teasing him.
5128839 You may learn to your utter shock that I've Kinda roadblocked on the next chapter while Comet is typing away.... luckily I still have more words down than him... for now XD
“I have heard much about you and I want to know if they are all true.”
I think "many things" would be better than "much" with this wording. Also, "barrell" only has one "l".
Niiiice. You really have a penchant for twisted mares, Comet. Oh, I know I'm going to enjoy this arc. Whereas Winding Sheets seems so much more elegant and proper, Black Lace is a cannon waiting to explode and level Canterlot. She excites me.
Something tells me she's going to be a pent-up at the end of all this. Either that or a lot less obsessed in that department. That warding spell will serve just as well at keeping her from having "fun" with any other ponies in the interim.
These updates were long in coming, but well worth the wait!
I'm curious about your source material for Lace. I have no experience with dominatrix so I wonder how accurate is her portrayal? This tale is taking me places I've never been...I feel as though I'm on a dangerous ride I can't exit.
I very much like your portrayal of Princess Celestia. Too often, writers seem to forget that she IS royalty, and as such has a certain demeanor that sets her apart from those around her, a demeanor you've captured quite well. I very much like how she is concerned for her subjects, even to go so far as to adopt what is for me a completely unorthodox and unforeseen program designed to help both the mares and the stallions. I have my doubts that either Lace or Sheets will comply with the restrictions, but it will be interesting to see.
Finally, as a veteran myself, I recognize and sympathize with Lance's PTSD. It took me quite awhile to reintegrate with society after Desert Storm, so I'll be watching his progress very closely.
5700245 Glad you're waiting for an update. Our main source for BDSM information is split between Comet's own research and consultation with Bad Seed 72 our far more knowledgeable editor Bad Seed 72.
As for veteran PTSD... now i'm just hoping our portrayals go right because most of our source base for that is via Wikipedia.
I got to say that I like Lace's interaction with Lance.
5053737 I'll tell that to Comet :D. And what about Sheets and Barding?

Knew there was a reason I faved this.

I meant what happened to him during the war. What did you think I meant?
5053914 Oh lol I thought you meant where did he run off to at the end :P Well what happened to him... You will have to see.

Oh this is going to be so much fun I can tell! Battle of the wits!
Keep going! ;)

Good updates!
Now this was an awesome interaction with two dominant personalities. Many shenanigans will ensue! Can't wait for more
I don't know whose arc I'm going to enjoy more. Sheets' cunning wit will be fun but the butting of two dominant personalities is always fun to watch.
Lance has some serious PTSD there.
Lace, honey, I love you, but you're going to get in trouble.
I can't wait toi see Lace loose control as Night comes around.
I think Lace should be able to crack her tail like a whip, maybe even as a self defense method??? I loved how she handeld Lance, I can just see him bashing his head against the wall as Lace keeps on teasing him.
I am rather disappointed that Celestia didn't crack down as her as she did with the previous, considering this one is worse then the other.

P.S.
More words, please?
