In a wasteland of ice and ash, a nameless man tries to find himself. With the help of a team of eight ponies, he might just accomplish that goal. However, in this wasteland, nothing is certain.
6874873 old comment but I agree. The majority of my guns are soviet designed. I do have an ar15 though, just because it's still good and I want options.
Nice story. Good descriptive writing, with enough dialogue-heavy bits to give us character input/development, with a touch of comedy. I would rate 9.5/10. The only relatively bad thing about this story is the lack of editing. Otherwise, perfect.
Real complaint here, you had a full six-month hiatus. Warning in the desc/blogpost would be cool, but, that's up to you.
Other than that stuff, I will be watching this story with interest.
7843258 Thank you for the helpful comment. There's not many people here that will really point out what I do right, or what I do wrong for that matter. It's nice to know why people like the story, and why they don't like it. It helps me figure out what I should be doing better, and what I shouldn't be doing at all as I progress. So really, thank you for the comment. Means the world.
As for my hiatus, I get what you're saying. If I decide to disappear for a half a year again, I'll try to give everyone fair warning.
7843497 You are very correct, and I should probably fix that, but you can also just assume no one in this story cares for such technicalities. It would save me an hour of editing.
I wasn't taking the story very seriously when I first posted it, figured it would be something that wouldn't get that much attention, and I would work on only every once in awhile. I figured, since no one was really going to care, I would add little segments to the ends of the chapter names to mildly amuse myself. When the story started picking up actual attention, I decided to stop doing it before I made a fool of myself. However, for some reason, I kept the rest unchanged...
As I said, mistakes were made. They are gone now, thank you for reminding me.
7847328 MOOOAAAARRRR YOU SCUZZY FLUFFBAG WRITE MOAR I MUST HAVE MY DOSE OF PONIES GETTING SLAPPED BY THE FACTS! No but seriously I want to get the ponies reactions, no rush tho, I know it's not easy to just pump out chapters.
Honestly one of the best ponies on earth stories. Ever.
The one problem I have with this is the fact you down graded your writing abilities. THE WAIT WAS WORTH IT. This story of YOURS is one of the few great stories THAT ARE STILL BREATHING mind you. So please do us all a favor. Don't downgrade yourself. Its stories like these that even keep me on this site. Give your self a pat on the back and feel good that I didn't have to get the defibrillators to see if this story had a pulse to continue! Thanks for a great story.
Great chapter. Keep them coming.
