More stuff on the blog, but that's the big bit: after a month-long hiatus, it's time for me to acknowledge that I'm not currently able to review or keep a schedule at the level I attempt to set for myself.

Today's Review Roundup covers three weeks, instead of two. Why? Because I had it in my mind that this week was two weeks out from the last post, rather than last week. Granted, all I would have needed to do to see the error of my ways was look at the dates involved, but obviously I didn't do that. Do you ever have people start noticing a particular story of yours, seemingly for no reason? Because I've had four or five people add The Showmare's Tale to their libraries in the past couple of days, and I have no idea why. I mean, I guess it was probably linked to somewhere, but I don't know where. If any of you happen to have the answer, I'm always curious to see what people are saying about my writing, even if it's some of my older stuff.

New news first: As those of you who are writeoff-oriented may already know, I recently took part in the latest minific round. My story did quite well over there, and I was planning to put it in my microfic collection... but as I tried to flesh it out to address some comments I got, it crept over the 1000 word mark, so I decided to publish it as its own piece. Behold!
The first two weeks of the fantasy football season, I lost both of my games... and I lost both of them by a single point 
But this week, we're trying something new! Specifically, we're trying "get your fanny beat in a blowout;" as I type this, Jordy Nelson just scored a last-second touchdown in the Packers/Bengals game to make my fantasy score 75-107... and my opponent still has two players left, to my none. Looks like it's gonna be a winless September.
