... about the episode "Daring Done?"... In fact, I have opinions about that, and most Daring Do episodes... I know these won't exactly make me universally loved, but I'm simply stating my opinion.
Synopsis
Rainbow Dash is distressed when she and Pinkie Pie discover that A.K. Yearling has announced her retirement from writing the Daring Do book series, thus ending her adventures as the titular hero.
This was an episode with tonnes of details to like. It’s nice to finally meet a canonical sphinx—this has me looking up my notes from when I wrote Chapter 2 of Time on Their Hooves. Of course we always knew a magical land of ponies and griffons must have them. The human-headed version of ancient Egypt wouldn’t fit, so the Southern Equestrian variety seems to be a cross between a pegasus and a giant ferocious kitty.
WHOA I am way behind on these. D: I'm not gonna bombard you with four episodes at a go, though. There's the weekend to rewatch the newest one, anyway.
"I'm afraid an emergency has come up in Fillydelphia. Apparently there's been some sort of infestation."—Princess Celestia, Swarm of the Century.
"Parasprite infestation in Fillydelphia eradicated. That's great news!" —Pinkie Pie, Daring Done.
Well that sure took a while, didn't it? At least Filly is finally safe though, after 6 whole seasons of being besieged by parasprites.
Sorry, it’s been a while since I wrote a journal entry. I’ve been debating whether I really want to write a journal entry here weekly- maybe I’ll do every other week. It does take time I could be working on other projects to work on these. Although I suppose instead of three episodes at a time, I could do one. We’ll see.
So.... I've been behind on watching season 7 by several episodes, due to the fact that I still hadn't gotten around to watching To Where and Back Again. Yeah. But I did get to that, and I've been catching up, and I did just recently finish Campfire Tales, and I wanted to share some quick thoughts about it and other related subjects.
Time for our obligatory once-a-season Daring Do ep.
To Change A Changeling
This was a really fun episode; the humor, the new character, it was all pretty entertaining. My only gripe is Starlight and Trixie thinking that Pharynx was a lost cause, but luckily it doesn't go unnoticed.
Overall, this was a fun episode!
8/10 Very Good
Daring Done
(disclaimer: I saw this episode early, so if you plan to watch the episode on the day it airs, be warned of spoilers)
Ironic that a Daring Do episode got unearthed early. Still, it belongs in… well, not a museum, but certainly its proper spot on the calendar. Which, conveniently enough, is now. Let’s dig in.

Daring Done!
Well, looks like another episode as a slap in the face to those who mock and riff other people by creating stories of falsehood or being completely judgmental. Not to mention being highly unappreciative of a hero who tries to help others.
A.K retiring just because of a few bad reviews... PATHETIC. I get picked on all the time, and I keep going because...
-I am not giving haters the satisfaction of quitting
Ah another awesome adventure with Daring Do. I just hope it's not the LAST adventure with her!
