Being a Better Reader: Leaving a Good Review · 10:47pm Nov 21st, 2016

I'm going to file this one under Being a Better Writer, but as most of you can tell from the title, I consider it more in line with the act of being a good reader than a writer. So, I took an Initial Assessment and I have something to say about one of the questions asked, along with a bit of a rant! - With Love, from FireRain! · 3:14pm Jun 21st, 2018

Every year in college, it is required that everyone takes an initial assessment for their maths and English skills. It shows where you are at with your skills so that your new tutors for the next course you move onto know exactly what you are capable of.

Taking the English one first, I found that one of the questions was laughable in itself. It read,

Being a Better Writer: What Makes a Protagonist? · 10:09pm Mar 15th, 2017

All right. So, yesterday's incarnation of this post, to what is now great irony, started with a worried critique of Wordpress' freshly rolled out posting interface. To be specific, it critiqued the poor interface design, but also noted with a faint hint of worry that something so new was bound to have some surprises of a possibly unpleasant variety.
