I've been getting back into the groove of it recently (with To Stand and Watch the Lake as a byproduct), and about a chapter and a half of Reflections' Canterlot arc have been written. Chapter 4 is up and this one develops the philosophical conflict that encompasses Hunter and the influence of humanity's extremes in Equestria. As I say in the author's note, I'm trying to frame this in a way that doesn't fully lean one way or the other and there is more to explore later on in the story. Hey. Been a while since I've posted anything. Lately I've been mostly just working, gotta make those bucks somehow. Been spending my downtime drawing and catching up on anime. I watched Demon Slayer, it was alright.

As far as stories go, I had a few longer ones that didn't pan out the way I liked, so I'll probably go back and try to get a few short stories out soon to clear the air.

With chapter 9 we set up the next part of the story as Ridgeback and Skyfall have made the opening move. Hunter and his friends deal with the aftermath and set up their counter move. I'm trying not to force myself to write, since that usually either backfires and makes not want to write at all, or I manage to get a chapter done but then find myself not wanting to touch the story in question for a while.

Howdy folks!

Just wanted to give another slight update on the next chunk of chapters to be released. As soon as I'm done with Chapter 7 (which I just started on) I'll be releasing 5-7 plus the Interlude. This should be a fun chonk of chapters to gnaw on for a while.

Usually while writing I use chatgpt to help fill in the blanks/give me a creative way to move a scene forward, but it seems like they updated it or I fed it too much of the story because it just keeps summarizing what I give it. In the middle of August, I suffered a statewide power outage so I couldn't write for a full week.
