To the new year! · 8:39pm Dec 31st, 2016
May this year bring good fortune to us all!
Hope you all had a lovely holiday period. Don't drink too much tonight, or do... You'll have New Year's Day to recover.
I started posting a little experiment of a story under the title Free Radical. I guess I pulled the trigger kind of early on it, but I have a skeleton for it planned out. It's a mystery/sad story about Pinkie Pie, featuring Thunderlane because I think that guy's pretty neat. What a swell pegasus.
When the New Year comes a shot glass does not hurt A pint of beer is not enough A liter of champagne would be good You have to drink all the worries That next year would be divine.
Another year gone by quick. Most people say 2019 was bad but I say I kinda enjoyed it! Let's see what 2020 has for us. Together!
( Sing-Song Voice ) HAPPY NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWW YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAR!
Thank you very much!
Errrrr, words....?
Hey, yeah, it's that kind of time again!
Words are not coming easily with this blog, but oh well. Anywho some time in January (hopefully) I'll tell you all some of the things I've been up to to, like where that story I have refrained from talking about, or those projects I say I'm working on, but never give a single detail about.
Be Better.
First, I want to wish all of you a better 2020 than 2019, and I thank you for beaing here, reading, and most of all - commenting. I mean it, interest is the biggest driver and comments the greatest reward far past any likes/upvotes.
Well, it's officially 2019 and I haven't finished writing anything that I said I was going to write. I suck. But I'm planning to fix that.
I've made a resolution to have the rewrite of Repainting Friendship finished by the end of March (we'll see how long that lasts). It's actually taking a lot longer than I originally thought it would take... plus, I've been procrastinating. I'm sorry, but it's going to be good, I swear.
The last several months have been a continuous read-a-thon. Because of the pandemic, and other mitigating factors, it's been incredibly slow at my job. This has allowed me a lot of time to read fanfiction on this site.
The creativity and originality that I've been lucky enough to encounter here has rekindled my love for My Little Pony. Thank you all and I wish you another year of unfettered creation.

Today I realized that my Five year anniversary on his site was two days ago... Huh, that's neat.
I don't really have anything else to say, but I guess I'll just show that I've somewhat got over my writers block by showing you a sneak peak of the next chapter of Prince Sonic the Hedgehog that I started writing five days ago. Enjoy!
When people realize that 2020 is still around for a couple more hours:
Let's not kid ourselves, this has been a shitty year to dwarf all shitty years. Even 2016 can't compare. A worldwide pandemic that has killed millions, a massive economic meltdown unheard of since the Great Depression, and worsening political situations all across the globe....
Happy new years here from Denmark!
I hope you guys have fun, be careful with your hands, and do not drive if you have been drinking.
It has been a good year, and I hope this new year will be even better! Thank you all for a good year!
So, I've been looking forward to this blog post for a long time.
Ten years and two deployments to Afghanistan ago, I ran across an article on Wired about a weird cultural phenomenon -- adult men who loved the children's show My Little Pony. How strange, I thought. And, for a lark, I decided to check it out.
Turner Classic Movies is going to do a Thin Man marathon starting at 8 PM ET tonight and going through the night.

After The Thin Man (1936).
Another Thin Man (1939).
Shadow Of The Thin Man (1941)
The Thin Man Goes Home (1945)
Song Of The Thin Man (1947)
New Year’s Day is also loaded, starting in the afternoon.
Singin’ In The Rain (1952)
North By Northwest (1959)
In The Heat Of The Night (1967)
Today makes an entire decade that I've been on this site. I honestly don't have any profound words for the occasion, but the anniversary feels too significant to let it go by without saying anything at all. I guess I'll just say thank you to everyone who has read my stories, faved and commented on them. And especially I'll thank anyone who has followed me. Y'all are definitely the reason that I've stuck around as long as I have.
Anyway, that's it. Thanks again for ten great years!
Normally I'd say something witty here, but I don't think I will this time around.
I guess I'll go ahead and start with the biggest thing on my mind for this year: my dog, Cody, passed away from a heart attack. I still habitually glance at his bed, expecting to find him sleeping quietly whenever I walk past it.
May you all have a fantastic New Year’s Eve and a very Happy New Year!!! 2023, here we come! Oh, and I want to share this song with you, fam. This was sung during the end credits of Transformers: The Last Knight. The movie is garbage, but this song was absolute fire! I listen to it at the end of every year.
Till all are one!
