Well, for a good while I've certainly doubted that making Daring Do real was a good idea--even if Stranger than Fan Fiction is one of my favorite episodes.
So, after my piece on Season 1 and the wonderful lack of commentary on it, I shall now go onward to Season 2 and things I thought about each episode. They're not necessarily reviews, I don't consider myself a good critic, but just random opinions and likely focusing on random stuff in each piece. Some may match up with popular opinion and some might be different.
Here we go!
To be honest Fallout Equestria: Code Red is my first story, I do enjoy writing and hope to improve with feedback and other such things. Code Red was more or less base on my general experience with Fallout growing up, I also hope to have elements from Fallout 4 in this story. 
Yesterday I finally bit the bullet and submitted the first chapter of my next story, which I titled "Danger Close". I was waiting to finish the second chapter since it is dealing with a lot of new background, but changed my mind. I guess the whole idea that the final season is starting this weekend made me want to push forward. So hopefully I'll get her approved and we'll see if anyone salutes the flag I've run up.
Looking through the listings on Netflix today, and I saw that MLP:FIM will not be available after Friday. And I've still got fifteen episodes I haven't seen yet. Dammit!
As I write this day, I'm hearing more news about the virus that is making our lives so complicated these days. As you can imagine, it hasn't been good news. In fact it sounds like a borderline clusterfuck. I don't know who to blame for this, or if it's worth trying to narrow it down right now, but it is discouraging. I've seen any number of people on Facebook posting their activities, seemingly bragging about not taking the whole situation seriously. Personally though, I don't have that luxury,
How has everyone handled the new plague? I have to ask, given that it has come way too close to yours truly. It happened a bit over a week ago, at a car show. It turned out that my nephew had covid, and wasn't feeling quite right, but went to the show anyway. I went too, making sure to wear my mask as much as I could. We hung out, and I think that I had the mask on most of the time, but I can't testify to it. He mentioned at the time that he wasn't feeling well, and I think that I suggested
In the last few weeks, I actually managed to get a bit more of both "The Blue and the Grey" and "Danger Close" out there. I figure that "The Blue and the Grey" has probably two more chapters to go, but I really don't have a final idea for "Danger Close" yet. I'd like to finish these darn things, but the last thing that I want is something rushed, or just plain abandoned. Why a story of that Fallout G.I.Joe knock off?

Today I did something that was probably way overdue, I trimmed down the number of stories that I was following. I wasn't that I wasn't still interested in the stories on the list, but I had to conclude that those stories probably weren't going anywhere. Some of them I moved to my favorites list, but others I cut lose.
I had a rude shock today as I was prowling through the options on Netflix. I came across MLP:FIM and noticed that the number of seasons available for viewing had shrunk, from the first eight to the first four. This, as you can imagine, was a very unwelcome revelation, as I had always thought that "Someday..." I was going to sit down and watch the episodes that I had missed, or just plain skipped, over the years.
I want something that will be a conversation starter like "It was a good, if hairless, ride" or "Trixie is Best Pony!" or "The root of all evil are trucker caps."
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! The Scootaorphan meme is dead! It's dead, it's dead, it's dead! 
I always hated that fanon, and I'm glad it's been officially jossed. 
I discovered just yesterday that a favorite ongoing story that I've been following has been declared complete. Normally, that would be a good thing, not of course because you want to see it end, but because of the sense of achievement that the author must feel. But unfortunately, the ending that we got was actually because of lost interest, and changing circumstances which forced an obviously premature conclusion.
Wow, 200 episodes? I don't think anyone ever anticipated that the show would come this far.
I swear, that title makes me think of Tony the Tiger.
No one expected the hiatus between Seasons 5 and 6 to be so short, but it was. So, after the divisive finale that made the infamous Starlight Glimmer a regular character, how was Season 6 going to handle the change in status quo? Well, we'll see what I personally thought of it.
The Crystalling
Well, had a crazy week, so I ended up forgetting to do the Rockhoof episode until it was too late. So... double feature.
Still a bit stymied as to the end of my story. But, to push the process along, I've decided to put part of the last chapter out there and see if there's any response. I figured that it certainly couldn't hurt.
