I had a rude shock today as I was prowling through the options on Netflix. I came across MLP:FIM and noticed that the number of seasons available for viewing had shrunk, from the first eight to the first four. This, as you can imagine, was a very unwelcome revelation, as I had always thought that "Someday..." I was going to sit down and watch the episodes that I had missed, or just plain skipped, over the years.
It's inevitable that the series that we have invested so much love and affection will eventually pass into history and become a mere footnote on Wikipedia, or whatever comes after. But it sucks that so many of those great later episodes will now be so much harder to see. It's still blows my mind to think that the last episode of the show was two and a half years ago. Now I really need to finish my stories. Time marches on...like it or not.
