Pony-Me Q&A · 7:02am May 3rd, 2018
With the end of Part 1, I'm sure many of you still have questions. With that, I've decided to use the chance to make a Q&A session for the story!
Go ahead, ask away!

'Cause seriously. Stock images were enough back when this was supposed to be a one-shot, but I think the story deserves more at this point. I don't have any way to pay, nor do I really have the money to, but I can instead write a commissioned story in return for a more scenic cover art for the story.
You can either reply right here, or PM me for more info.
And with it, some new (non stock-image!) cover art as well! For the most part it's complete. I've just gotta run it through some effects and finish tweaking the coloring a bit.
As for what part 2 will contain...
Gimme some guesses, y'all. ^_^
Lemme just say this now:
SPOILER WARNING BELOW THE BREAK!
Lemme just say that there's gonna be quite a bit of new lore introduced in the short time before and after the end of Pony-Me part 2.
It's gonna be dealing with both the simulation itself, and how Twilight and Pinkie currently exist outside it as Lisa and Samantha.
Also, Timothy's gonna make a comeback to the current arc while Andrew will be leaving in the meantime.
Just be prepared for a story-changing batch of lore and character/worldbuilding.
It's unfinished for now, but here's what we've got so far!

No, this is not an April Fool's joke. Into Equestria's basically on life support right now. Ignore the upcoming April Fool's chapter coming out soon.
I've got a couple points that I need to get across concerning the story:
Drew it myself in about half an hour.
Thoughts?
Outside of major plot points, character names, and places, My Own Reality will not be a carbon-copy of Pony-Me with MLP stripped away. While previous blogs might've made it sound like that was the direction it was heading in, I'm treating the new story as an essentially overhauled version of Pony-Me, complete with several revised elements that would set the story apart from the original. Though, there will still be small Easter Eggs tossed in referencing Pony-Me. For example, the date of
Pony-Me™
Twilight thought it was all so real-- the crisp morning air, the warmth of the rising sun, the ponies that went about their day-- it all seemed real to her. Yet, with the breaking of a single connection, everything comes crashing down, leaving a very confused girl wearing a VR headset.
See y'all around when it comes time to see if this actually happens or not!
Would you rather see a continuation of linking canon characters to human OCs, or would the entire main cast be OCs in both human and pony?
'Cause y'know, reboot's happening and all.
idk.
I just remembered that the old Pony-Me had guest chapters, so I thought it'd be neat to see if anyone else remembered.
anyway ima probably go to bed now. I've got a biiiiig chapter to write and a counterpart chapter to plan.
Though I initially thought that writing a spinoff AU to my AU would be fun, it turns out that it's been rather bland, and at worst even stressful in a way. Given how it's on a parallel timeline to the main story, Rogue has to update at the same time as Pony-Me, thus requiring me to write double the chapters for a single update.
With the story nearing its final stretch and resolving multiple conflicts, all while setting up new ones for Part 3, I'd very much appreciate it if I had a couple more prereaders, or just people to bounce ideas off of.
Idunno, with my personal hiatus in full-swing, I've been able to get a good amount of study time in. At the same time, replacing my writing time with reading time either to study more or to whittle down my library has actually been quite nice to have.
But at the same time, things still feel the same. The only difference is that I now typically study some notes and/or read some unread chapters over the course of my regular writing period. Same workflow, same load, etc. etc.
After scrapping the old plans to just directly adapt Pony-Me's entire plot to original fiction and instead rewriting everything from the ground up, it's only taken three months to hit 10k words across six chapters.
Short to say, based off of that alone, I'm pretty sure that the original fiction adaptation is gonna be quite a bit longer than the OG Pony-Me, even when counting the guest chapters and bonus bits such as the April Fools' chapters.
Lisa, sadly, has to abandon her oatmeal.
