[HICHE] ADKoPD: Episode 10, Fliers on the Storm · 7:08pm Jul 18th, 2019

Science fiction is a genre about more than just robots and space aliens. It’s meant to be a medium by which to explore possibilities within reach of humanity in the future, to test how new concepts would work before they become widespread and irreversible. Basically, it takes real or speculative science and asks, “What if…?”. It’s about time that actual science joined all the fiction already in this sci-fi story, wouldn’t you say? Welcome, friends, to Episode 10 of “A Different Kind of

[HICHE] ADKoPD: Episode 6, Rescue at the Hive · 2:32pm Apr 16th, 2019

If the title didn’t give it away, this is the first majorly hyped event in the story, the episode where the first big arc gets resolved as we finally adapt the rest of part 2 of SGA’s premiere. As it stands, unfortunately, it’s also the longest drafted chapter for the rest of the story, including the actual finale. I told you this thing wasn’t finished. Welcome, friends, to Episode 6 of “A Different Kind of Pegasus Device”.

[HICHE] A Different Kind of Pegasus Device: Episode 3, The Scourge of the Century · 10:38pm Jan 22nd, 2019

Throughout the previous installments, “as in SGA” has been a running gag that’s getting old, and after laying down the background lore, we’ve finally begun to move beyond it. Pardon for a time, however, the switch to “as in SG-1” instead. Welcome, friends, to Episode 3 of “A Different Kind of Pegasus Device”.

[HICHE] ADKoPD: Episode 26, Attack on Gaia · 10:22pm Nov 5th, 2021

Stargate Atlantis would end its 5-season run with a rushed one-part finale vaguely set up by the prior episode, the majority of which had happened out of main continuity by being set in a parallel universe. Hooray for me accidentally doing almost the exact same thing. Welcome, friends, to Episode 26, the finale, of “A Different Kind of Pegasus Device”.

[HICHE] ADKoPD: Episode 7, The Path to Power · 6:05pm May 29th, 2019

I feel like now is the time to explain the “progression” I’ve hinted at before. It started with the initial Wraith attack, breaking the peace and security of Equestria, with Atlantis providing the promise of a happy ending. Our heroes poke around in episode 2, finding the ruins of a Wraith rampage, a grim preview of their own future. Episode 3 has them stepping up to help, but failing terribly, a harsh reality check and a shaking of their confidence. Then episode 4 shows them, as stated

[HCHE] ADKoPD: Episode 13, Valley of Lost Dreams · 5:52pm Sep 16th, 2019

And now we’ve reached the halfway point of the story, complete with the biggest all-out battle thus far. This massive event was positioned to act as a mid-season finale if need be, giving me a chance to take some time off and work on other stories before returning to tell the rest of the adventure. Lotta good that turned out. Also, this title references “Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams”. Not relevant, I just wanted to tell you that. Welcome, friends, to Episode 13 of “A Different Kind of

You may have noticed that despite the major event this story started with, not many characters have acted too shaken up about it more than once or twice. That’s largely down to these early episodes being the first ones I envisioned, and not at a time when I was fleshing them out in that way, and by the time more in-depth ideas came along later, the events of the shallow parts were firmly entrenched into the story canon the better stuff was built on, and I just never got around to expanding

[HICHE] ADKoPD: Episode 15, Letters from a Pegasus · 2:22pm Oct 21st, 2019

One way many stories build characters up is by first beating them down. While thinking about this story one day, I realized or decided I hadn’t done that enough yet, so I made this episode to make up for that. Welcome, friends, to Episode 15 of “A Different Kind of Pegasus Device”.

Objection! Your Honor, this episode was clearly just written to be a Phoenix Wright reference! (desk slam) I demand that this case be dismissed! (finger point) Author, what have you to say for yourself!? (blurred camera scroll) “Um…I liked Turnabout Storm?” Welcome, friends, to Episode 20 of “A Different Kind of Pegasus Device”.

[HICHE] ADKoPD: Episode 12, Creeps in the Deeps · 9:39pm Aug 18th, 2019

This story is billed as a crossover between My Little Pony and Stargate Atlantis, but as you’ve probably noticed, I’m also including snippets of other media in minor or short-lived roles. Why? Well, because I’m a fan of those things too, and tying them all together is neat to do. In fact, this episode’s entire existence is rooted in something related to neither Stargate nor MLP. Welcome, friends, to Episode 12 of “A Different Kind of Pegasus Device”.

[HICHE] A Different Kind of Pegasus Device: The Movie…or something · 5:55pm Jul 7th, 2022

Following the cancellation of SG-1 after 10 seasons, the show held on for two more follow-up movies. SGA was supposed to have a movie after its 5-season run, but it and any later SG-1 movies were shelved in favor of another spinoff series, Stargate Universe…that put drama before adventure and lasted only two seasons. Of all the Stargate traditions I ended up carrying on, why’d this have to be one? Welcome, friends, to the unsorted aftermath of “A Different Kind of Pegasus Device”.

Stories I've Helped On — Two Score, Minus Two or: A Stargate Tail · 7:20pm Jul 27th, 2017

Stargate Command is Earth's first line of defense against a hostile galaxy. Their mandate is "to seek out and recover intelligence and technology to assist Earth in its defense against these aggressors." It’s a dangerous job, and SGC’s mettle and defenses have been tested before. All past incidents were resolved successfully, with the normal citizens of America – and the world – none the wiser. But...

Witty Title Here · 3:01am Oct 17th, 2015

Blog posts aren't really something I do often, but nothing's wrong with trying something new for a change.

I've been busy lately while having nothing to do. If it seems like a massive contradiction to you, then congratulations you're in the same position I am. I've been scratching my head over it for a few days. If it makes perfect sense to you, leave a comment explaining it in a way that gives me an epiphany. I like philosophy.

So, anywho~

Informational. Characters. Seth · 6:06pm Mar 31st, 2019

The persona of Seth was born from the idea of writing fanfic about a girl who turned out to be a witch, and her witty cat from the point of view of a cat. This idea came to my mind when reviewing the old TV series 'Sabrina the Teenage Witch', and I always liked the way the Salem cat was portrayed in the series. So I thought - why would I not write Worm fanfic with a 15 year old Panacea, who had just discovered that she was a witch, because she was told about this by a talking cat that belonged
