Heya, readers! Got a question for y'all. (Please Read) · 12:25am Jul 27th, 2018
Who would you recommend my stories to?
Who would you recommend my stories to?
Okay, here's a thing that I did.
Y'know Discord? The chatty thing?
Y'know all the crazy Iceverse stuff I write?
You like reading them and stuff?
Well, hopefully...
Anyway... the Iceverse now has a Discord server! You can talk about characters/snark/why I suddenly made chapters in FA that were super long like with me/something related to it.
This would also be a chance to request to see the concept art and Sombra doodles that I make behind the scenes.
If you know a couple things about me, it's that I've probably/maybe made some kind of Satanic pact to update things like I do, or might just be some eldritch vortex that has legs but mostly just vomits up words. Something like that.
This, of course, never means that I don't go back and revise/tweak little bits and things in my older stories. I reread my stuff often enough, especially to try and spot a rare typo or something that might have slipped by and see the quality of my work. Etc.
Er, yes. I most certainly do. It's... very much clear at this point that I'm a bit stuck, I think. Not with writing, but with actually having time to sit down, catch up on what I have, and write the rest of stuff. I wish what I had was writer's block or a simple need to outline things because that would mean that I've had time to write and realize I'm stuck in that regard. But it hasn't been like that, and no matter how much I've wanted to write, and have been working toward getting the
As I've come to learn via my Discord server, something bizarre has happened. In fact, it is so bizarre that the only thing that could make it seem normal is if I remembered my other email password and actually bothered to check it, or browsed Equestria Daily, well, daily.
Because, my weird cult of followers, apparently, the revised (yes, it had a revision I forgot to blag about) of All That Lingers got its paranormal romance ass on Equestria Daily.
Groups are hands-down one of the best ways to get an audience on here. Even if you have notifications turned off for when people initially spam stories, your story will still stay in the group. FIMFiction has always been good about having story categories be precise genres instead of an absolute clusterfuck of tags like derpibooru (especially considering tags that would be normal there become subjective as hell when applied to stories and stories on here aren't moderated to the degree images
Hi, it's been a while. I'm really sorry about that, I'll try and do a personal update soon. I've been busy and unwell lately, but I would at least like to give a delayed answer to the following: yes, I got my computer fixed a while ago, near the end of January. I also ended up with another laptop. However, I'd like to make a time-sensitive blog about something important.
'Cause I'm recovering from a minor surgery and my leg has stitches in it so I decided to finish something else. Namely, editing an interlude for a story long overdue for something of a wakeup. It's my bed-ridden recovery, I get to pick between editing and actually writing some stuff.
I've revised up to the Part 3 of the "Husband of Hers" chapters so cut me a break, thankies.
Lately, I have been going through various complete entries in Missing Pages that were too short to publish. I decided that "Just Weep" shouldn't be left to gather dust there. I've since published it as its own story with the addition of eight new poems about Celestia (and Luna) so that it is long enough to count as a one-shot according to the site's minimum wordcount rule. If you read the original poem, please check out the new additions and give them an upvote and some comments. I'm not
It has a quite a bit of cuteness for a story about the end of the world...
Eh, maybe. But anyway guys I just thought I'd let you know that my stories aren't going to be updated.
Neato. Okay, so now there's over 300 of you following me and my crimes against commas? Wow.
That sure is something...
Anyway, here's some updates and junk. This blog, like all my follower milestone ones, is also an AMA so as long as your questions are in English and follow the, like, three really basic rules that I have for my AMAs then this should be good. I'm also too lazy to link the last AMA so ha.
Updates below and all that.
Maybe I need a restraining order.
Oh, and y'all still have to share one futon. I'm not a goddamn rich manflesh entity.
But I'm getting back into the swing of things. Expect stuff maybe. Words are in progress. I am typing words.
Anyway, because 450 is a big number, you get to ask me shit. Woo.
There's been at least four people who have been having trouble completing their contest entry for the Lunbra contest, and maybe even more. Today would have been the deadline, but since I've been thinking about it, and about how extremely excited everyone has seemed about the whole thing, you have been given one last increase in writing time even though this contest has been going since September.
There are now four entries, and three other contests currently going on.
it's a Christmas miracle!
It's finally out of the feature box!
Y'all can read my good shit now!
We're saved!
🙏
Ya know Favorable Alignment? That really big story I'm writing that is gonna conclude arc one of my crazy universe? You do? Good, well this blog is about that.
There's a lot of little bits of world building that won't be fitting into the current chapter - and some from the story as a whole that I've yet to recall at the moment. Most of them are about the demons, which are finally explained in this chapter I'm working on. More about that below.
That wave of kinda fluffy stuff I've been writing?
It ends now.
Enemy of Mine is coming.
Soon.
Really soon.
Super soon, dammit.
AT 5:30 PM EST TODAY, THE LUNBRA CONTEST IS NO LONGER TAKING SUBMISSIONS! EVERYBODY PANIC AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST! BUT MOSTLY PANIC!
It has Trixie. If you really liked Wishing Werelights there's some connections the two share that you'll like. If not, you'll still like it. Trixie does Trixie things. Oh, and there will be that new story in, like, five days. With all this writing getting done recently there's actually something to blog about, and uh, a lot. Especially compared to the 'Yes, I'm alive and writing a little' stuff I had been making for most of 2019 regarding projects.
Enjoy Trixie!
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?
Yes. I did. Two horses having normal horse sex. It's a completely serious story, but I decided to go out of my usual skill area for April Fool's Day. If you've been following Stay Golden and you want a quick peek of what's to come, this story is for you.
It's also getting a lotta downvotes for not being porn. RIP in pepperoni.
