Okay,I've had Writers Block for upward of two weeks now, and I can't break it! It's absolutely frustrating!

Any tips or tricks that work for you? How do you get writers block to go away?

2657382 Shoot some digital people with digital guns...

...That seems to do the trick for me.:moustache:

Break it by writing something completely random. I broke mine by basically writing Supreme Commander with ponies.

Get a friend to compete with you in a writing contest.

I work on other stories, listen to music, scream at the wall (maybe I do, maybe I don't), watch TV...depends on the story I'm working on.

I usually just write something else.:raritywink:

We need a Thread for this topic...

So here's how I do it!

I listen to this a few times a day, and then watch some t.v. :moustache:

Write another story. Then go back to the story your stuck on and maybe you'll have the inspiration again to continue the story.:moustache:

Read other people's stuff.

...Like mine :scootangel:

Seriously though, I just look up short completed stories and give a quick read. :moustache:

There's many things.
What I do is are these following things. Not necessarily in this order:
-Eat
-Listen to music
-Work on the ideas of other stories
-Defecate
-Draw or any forms of art. Writing is considered art too.
-Exercise
-Watch the show
-Masturbate
-Pony videos
-Read
-Pony art

And the list goes on.
More power to you.

Write. No matter how much it hurts, no matter how much it sucks.

Just write.

One sentence per sitting if you have to.

Edit anything you wrote until it is actually good.

That usually breaks my block fairly quickly.

How about all of those at once? :trixieshiftright:

Eating feces while masturbating to pony art and listening to Two Steps from Hell is my kink, but I know that isn't everyone's cup of tea.

2657417 How does one do that all at once??

2657423

Sounds delicious to me. :trollestia:

2657382 Try writing anyway. Keep writing. Then reread all you wrote and get inspiration from that.

2657382 If you've tried all of the above, maybe take a break from writing. PERIOD.

For like a day or two. Go outside, take a hike! Do something completely unrelated. I don't know, just hang out with friends. Then try picking up the proverbial pen again.

It's better if you're exercising though.

2657440 Well then you're a productive bugger

There's more techniques, but it depends on the person.

2657457

Sounds amazing. Also, what the heck happened to this thread?

2657429 With the right seasoning and chemicals, anything can taste good. Look at fast food restaurants.

2657463 It has been taken over by me >:D

I don't even know what the original topic was.

2657514

"Does sitting in fold-up chairs make you write better?" I think it was something like that.

2657524 I don't own a fold-up chair :fluttercry:

Instead of chatting here, why not chat somewhere else?

So back to your actual question. The real answer is, don't do this.
