Well I found the direct link to the old forum for the first May Pairing contest in case any of your old folks like me are interested in trying to see what you can glean from it here it is.
How did you find this thread in the WaybackMachine? I forgot to archive the forum's front page two years ago, which normally means the archived threads aren't accessible unless someone has their URLs saved, but now it seems there might be a trick or workaround to access them anyway. Can you let me know? Maybe there's still a way to fix what I messed up.....
Can you tell me the individual steps you took to get there? When I search for the URL of the group's front page, I can navigate in the group, but I don't find any links to the individual threads.
7858696 Thinking about it, I remember now how I got there - I used my own story to do it. I know that I had linked to the May Pairing Contest in the story description, so I used it to navigate there.
Oh, so it was only because you happened to have a link to the thread somewhere..... I was hoping there is a secret workaround or a functionality of the WaybackMachine that I don't know yet and which I could use to find all the threads. But at least two of them are accessible now, thanks. Maybe the thread with the 2020 contest results can be found in the same way.
You're a blessing. I followed your link and it brought me to the results thread for the 2020 contest because PRlNCESS CADENCE has linked it in the last post:

We have Silver with first, R1 with third, and I remember I got an honorable mention for most original pairing.

The top 3 results were myself with 1st place, Marcibel in 2nd, and R1FB in third. I forget all of the honorable mentions, though.

I just searched for it on there by searching for the group page's URL (https://www.fimfiction.net/group/214077/original-pairings) and then navigating from there.
Unfortunately, the forum's front page doesn't seem to have been captured before 2022. This is the earliest capture on there: https://web.archive.org/web/20220524045310/https://www.fimfiction.net/group/214077/original-pairings/forum
You'll likely need someone with stronger interwebs skills than I have to find an older version of the page.
Sorry I couldn't help.

Yes, unfortunately. Like I said, I messed up and forgot to archive it two years ago, when I archived the entire group..... See here.

Thinking about it, I remember now how I got there - I used my own story to do it. I know that I had linked to the May Pairing Contest in the story description, so I used it to navigate there.
So the route from the front page was:
https://web.archive.org/web/20210630201648/https://www.fimfiction.net/group/214077/original-pairings/folders
https://web.archive.org/web/20210630201856/https://www.fimfiction.net/group/214077/folder/67552/may-pairing-contest-winners
https://web.archive.org/web/20200812072751/https://www.fimfiction.net/story/440002/stuck-in-canterlot
Using that method, I can also get you a link to the Speed Writing Contest, if you've been looking for that: https://web.archive.org/web/20210630214432/https://www.fimfiction.net/group/214077/original-pairings/thread/457587/speedwriting-contest

I found this by following a link to the site wide post, then followed a link in the comments to the original.

Now we have at least all of the old contest results here again; from 2021, 2020 and 2019! This day ends better than I thought!
