A while back, I read a story called The Great Brony Migration. I won't spoil the whole plot, but part of it involved all of the world's bronies turning into ponies, and migrating from Earth to Equestria.

Lately, I've been thinking of a similar scenario. But I wanted to see how other people would react in the following situation.

So let's say it goes like this. Some scientists in a top-secret research facility are doing some kind of physics experiment or something. It goes wrong, and a massive, reality-warping shockwave spreads out from the lab across the whole planet. At first, nothing seems wrong.

Until the shockwave hits us bronies, that is.

Upon contact, the majority of the bronies are transformed into their respective OCs. For example, Bronymonster44 would become Aura Skye, Blank Slate would become Blank Check, I would become Jade Dawn, so on and so forth.

Anyway, people are getting turned into ponies left and right. It's like something out of a Left Behind movie, except with ponies. The unchanged population is going into a panic. The governments of the world are alarmed and concerned. Scientists are mystified.

Meanwhile, the bronies...well, this is where you guys come in.

What would you do? How would you cope? Would you go into hiding? Would you embrace your new form? Would you take on the identity of your OC?

Also, there are some bronies who claim to have received a vision from Princess Luna, saying that there is a way to flee Earth and go to Equestria. Would you attempt it?

As a final note, people who have alicorn OCs would have their powers reduced somewhat. Nothing Celestia level, or anything like that.

It wouldn't really have an effect on me, seeing as how the guy is literally an incarnate of myself. Just with more sarcasm and generally more of an asshole.

I think I would be pretty cool with sacrificing my voice to use magic. And if there was a way from Earth to Equestria? Heck yes I would be trying to get there.

The OC I've spent the most time developing isn't a representation of me at all. The OC that I've used for myself was borrowed in a pinch to fill a role, but started - and sort of remains - a quite different personality. This transformation wave... how does/would it choose?

If it's overall then my main OC is a human and that's that. MLP one... well, it's a changeling (for all the stuff I think for him I've yet to use it in an actual story, so I don't really know if that factors in anything), so I guess once I get the hang of transforming I can just resume my original form. With how widespread the event would be I can at least count on my family accepting the situation eventually, and it helps one or two of them are aware of the show and are also fans (but don't do stuff like making up OC's and the like, so who knows what would happen to them, if anything) so that helps me out in making the rest understand and...

Well, I'd say, regardless, this is an interesting scenario. Knowing this on hindsight, it doesn't make me worry much, I'll admit.

My oc, isnt a pony, nor is he human, he is actually a machine, actually based off the Portal series, he is the central core. He has powers over time, space, energy, matter, life, and death. I believe if I was turned into this guy, I'd freak the fuck out, then find a way into equestria, before my battery ran out.

Well, I’m a dude, and my primary OC is a mare. So I’d first have to spend some time trying to deal with the fact that I’d just switched sexes, especially since I’m reasonably happy in my current body.

However, after I’d gotten past that, I’d love it. Because my OC is a reasonably powerful unicorn whose special talent is time manipulation—she can make it run faster and slower for herself and another pony or two, and that’s it, but that’s all I’d need.

You better believe I’d abuse the hell out of that, and I’d never get caught, either. In my spare time I’d try to learn other spells so I can make my life easier. And I’d try to help out friends and family.

All I know is that the first thing I'd be doing is taking to the sky. Beyond that, though... I'm not really the sort of individual to just act without thinking (aside from the whole 'flying right way' shtick), my next move would likely be to start seriously weighing my options. And yeah, I'd probably end up taking the escape hatch to Equestria... I mean, that would likely be the option with the greater upside of the two, so there's really no reason for me not to

Spitting out the mix of grody soap and sweaty fingers I manage to get inside.

Seeing myself for the first time, I take comfort in the fact that I don’t look half bad.

I see the second surprise of the day. Standing before me is a familiar and gorgeous Pegasus. Her blue eyes linking me immediately to who it is.

“It’s finally happened, you dork.” She says in that loving exasperating tone.

Two little foals, an earth filly and a Pegasus colt, scamper in as well, completing the scene and the only way this would ever go down.

Equestria or Earth. Not important, as long as they are with me too.

I would be confused and scared, but seeing that there would be others that would be the same, I would say to myself to shut up and get over it. Right now, survival would be our priority seeing how those government fuck o' manics would be on our tails and try to capture us, and trust me I personally don't want to became a science project from a wackjob who thinks that we're aliens. After i get myself situated, I would round up as many of my pony brothers and sisters and testify that we're still people, living, sentient, beings who doesn't want to be treated as dumb animals. After We as many, testify as sentient beings, we would go back to where we are still treated as a person which is home. This what I would do if this scenario does happened.

Also my OC is a unicorn called Crystal Lens.

Although I have other OC's such as a human(British weeb who died visiting Japan, making him the first foreigner reincarnated) set in the anine Konosuba, I'm guessing this is strictly ponies. I guess I would become an Irish-inspired pony whose talents is making beer, cursing, and drinking beer.

I'm already drinking beer, I already curse a lot, so having an Irish accent and an actual talent to provide my own beer would be nice. Guess nothing will really change.

I would either end up as A) my Dragonborn. Paladin, Ragnar in which case I'd gloat a bit and fuck with the humans a bit) before heading to go adventuring in equestria or B) if its my main pony oc , a unicorn obsessed with books, then probably just go ask twilight for a job in the library since

I was thinking some kind of scientific accident that causes reality to be altered slightly. Perhaps in this scenario they've accidentally done something with Equestrian magic. I don't really know. I was more aiming for how we would all react if we got turned into ponies. Or hippogriffs, or griffons, or whatever else we'd want to be.

Interesting idea. Although I'm pretty sure that the majority of the world would still recognize us sentient lifeforms right off the bat (#BroniesArePeopleToo, anyone?). Trust me, with all of the awareness movements going on these days, I think we'd have a lot of public (and maybe even governmental) support on the infinity-to-one chance this happened.

Well, first I'd panic. Then I'd try to adjust to using hooves. Then I'd learn to fly, because batpony. At some point, I probably would go into hiding, because I can just see governments putting us into quarantine or something. Then I'd try to find others who had gone into hiding and see if we could make it to Equestria. The only way to reverse the transformation would be Equestrian magic, no doubt about that. Once we get our hands... er... hooves on the "cure" I'd go back to Earth and try and lead anyone who didn't want to remain a pony to Equestria to get them transformed back into a human. Of course, I wouldn't force anyone to change back if they didn't want to. As for whether or not I'd remain a pony... that really depends. I've always wished for the ability of flight, but I do enjoy being human. I dont know if I could live without hands. They are so useful.

On the subject of... government reactions and the like... well, as much as we like our tropes and clichés, I would at least be willing to give the benefit of doubt. Who knows, a simple mutual trust and cooperation can go a long way. Regardless, I wouldn't leave for Equestria. Too much to loose, too little to gain for it to be worth it. Worst case scenario, I do my best to hide what am I now. I mean, I end up as a changeling, after getting the hang of it, how hard could it be?

I did have an older OC, Time Turner, just as old, if not older than is account, he was actually my first idea of another OP unicorn, like twilight was before she was princessified. He, like his name suggests , has a minor, and I say minor lightly, has a minor amount of control over time. If I did become him, I would likely have a mental breakdown. Then try and find a way to get to Equestria, just so I wouldn't become an experiment for the us government.
