Hello, everyone! I'm here today to promote something of a Fimfiction tradition: Adding a Santa hat to your avatar for the holidays!

That's right, The Descendant has recently posted a blog for everyone to don a Santa hat somewhere on their avatars. He's been doing this tradition every year since he started it in 2012.

Here's how to add a hat, quoted from the raven's blog:

It is simply done using a transparent .gif/.png and the most basic image editing programs which come on most computers. Here's a couple of pages full of transparent .gifs/.png's for you to choose one from:

And so does this one!

If you need any help to do this, all you have to do is ask on his blog.

Of course, if your usual avatar can't very well wear a Santa hat, you could always take my approach and turn your avatar into a Santa hat.
