Chrysalis, Aita and Cozy Glow are having reunions with some of their old friends and family to celebrate Hearth's Warming. And while everyone else is happy to see and get to know each other, pet fox Lorien is quite unreceptive toward one of the guests as preparations for the reunion dinner are made.

One evening, Cozy Glow and Diamond Tiara are called by the map to Baltimare, specifically the convention center there as Spade Con is about to be held. The day following them and Lorien's arrivals, they find the source of the friendship problem: two ponies named Atomic Archive and Timeless Tale struggling to run their Q&A panel together. But when Lorien steals a hat, they all find the day is repeating, and they're back to where they started.

While casting a dream walking spell, Aita has entered Cozy Glow's dream. The changeling crosses paths with the young six there, and ends up joining them as they investigate the cave beneath the library of the School of Friendship. Encountering the tree of harmony, all seven are taken to be tested on their biggest fear, including Aita.

Shortly after Aita, Twilight and Carve's coronations, Aita notices that her castlemates Cozy Glow and Chrysalis are especially tired one morning. At first they all chalk it up to the stationary raincloud outside, that is until Cozy and Chrysalis come to her in the middle of the night. This prompts Aita to head to Canterlot for help from Twilight.
