When friends and family are visiting the castle for a Hearth's Warming reunion, Lorien becomes quite unreceptive to one of the guests as the night goes on despite what everyone else thinks.
One evening, Cozy Glow and Diamond Tiara are called by the map to Spade Con in Baltimare, where two ponies are struggling to run a Q&A panel together. But Lorien's hat stunt makes their first day there repeat, and they're back to square one.
While in Cozy Glow's dream, Aita ends up joining the Young Six as they enter the cave beneath the library of the School of Friendship. From there, they are all tested on their biggest fears.
While adjusting to their new roles after Aita, Twilight and Carve's coronations, Aita notices Cozy Glow and Chrysalis quite exhausted one morning. It is only when they come to her at night when she goes to her old caretaker, Twilight, for help.
