2022 August MOFA (Mockingbirb's Opinionated Flashfic Award) Contest Results For "I hardly know her" · 2:11am Sep 26th, 2022
This month, it's as true as ever that the MOFA is just an opinion someone had while they were trying to pick a favorite story out of someone else's contest's entries! 
(Seriously, the official Flashfic 150 rules say that after the 21st day of the contest month in the UTC time zone, "From this point, anyone may request or offer feedback. See above for feedback rules." Telling people that their stories are my favorites is definitely allowable feedback.)
MOFA First Place (Tied)
My August favorites seem to be EileenSaysHi's "Strange Girl," and "The Spectrum of Spotlights" by Impossible Numbers.
EileenSaysHi's "Strange Girl" lets us see inside Rarity's head for a moment, and shows us how an AU could have turned out rather differently from Equestria Girls canon.
When "The Spectrum of Spotlights" by Impossible Numbers won the Flashfic 150 first place, Loganberry pointed out, "Not a single name used, yet we all know who it's about and what's going on." The story really does give us a very special (yet perfectly canon-compatible) look at the childhood friendship between Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy.
Entering a Story For the MOFA
Conveniently, the way to enter the next MOFA round is, as usual, simply to enter the Flashfic 150.
