I have my own little-fan idea. It involves the Thirteen Primes, the Quintessons, Unicron, and a couple of nods to IDW. I probably won't get to writing it because I have no time for any of that, but it's fun to think about. Wanna hear it?

I will say now it’s just somewhat of an outline; mainly characters introduced that pay homage to other sources.
Basically, my idea for at least an introduction was that the Decepticon Bludgeon and his Mayhem Attack Squad (consisting of Needlenose, Spinister, Grabuge, and Windsweeper in homage to the exclusive BotCon Thunder Mayhem combiner) and the Decepticon Sixshot get contacted by Lockdown, who recruits them to seek revenge on the Mane Six for destroying his ship. They agree to help him while Bludgeon is preparing a scheme to awaken Unicron, with help from the Quintessons, lead by Alpha Q. I kind of cast Bludgeon as a dark magic-like cultist who was exiled by Megatron.
The Decepticons ambush the Autobots during Twilight’s coronation to ruler of Equestria and easily defeat them due to their years of peace. Bludgeon also brings along Monstructor, the combined form of the Pretender Monsters that, in homage to IDW, is secretly the first combiner and one of Cybertron’s greatest blunders courtesy of Crystal Guardian Jhiaxus.
Then, Vector Prime arrives on the scene and saves everyone, forcing them to retreat.
I’ll stop there. It seems jumbled but I don’t have the talent for storytelling.
