Where in the world is ROB? · 3:01am Jul 25th, 2022

I dunno, man. There's been a lot going on, mostly just small stuff, but also family and job stuff.

I wanted to sit down and do an in depth blog post about everything, but honestly... I'm just too tired for it, so screw it.

While I've not been posting much of anything, I have been writing agonizingly slow. I got a list of priorities that I'm working on. I'm also trying to, with some new stories that I know are shorter (5 chapters +/- 2 chapters) I want to actually have them completed first, and then start doing a weekly post for them.

[Sarcasm: 85%] As you can all see, that's going along swimmingly.
[Lie: 10%] I'll be rocking these out soon!
[Honesty: 5%] I'm so fucked.

I do plan to start releasing a story soon that's not completed, but mostly because I've been playing a particular video game, and I've outlined a ton of a fic involving a crossover, so I may say screw editing, screw my life, and start just posting it as I write it. You know, my normal thing.

I guess a bit of good news though, although it ties into bad news. Lets start with that; I didn't make it to Trotcon, as any of you who went saw I wasn't there (although my TV's still made it for the game room cause thanks Admiral!). This ties into the good news, as of the middle of June, I was gone for 2 1/2 weeks down in Tennessee, working on getting my Airframe and Powerplant mechanic license for working on aircraft, and damn it all I got it!

I'm officially licensed now, so that's great. Opens a lot up for me. However, as mentioned, I had to miss over two weeks of work to do it (as this was for my own benefit, not for work although they were kind enough to pay me for a week vacation because technically this does make them look better) so that meant I couldn't afford to miss any more work. So, bye bye Trot.

Maybe next year, and hopefully by then I'm also not a mess, but I doubt that. Probably still be a mess. And a drunk. And whatever else you all call me.

Anyway, other than the one fic I may start posting which is incomplete and a crossover, I have about 3 other stories that I'm trying to wrap up, get edited when done, and slate for posting. Can't say when, just because I'm still trying to get my shit together, but I'd like to at least have something before this year is over.

So tl;dr, I'm not dead (yet), so cheer or weep, whichever you fancy.
