Decision time: The Many Worlds of Twilight; where the story is going. · 4:12am Jul 18th, 2022

G'day all. Been a while since the last update and not to worry, the next chapter is currently on the works. However, reviewing it now could make or break the series as it is.

When I first started this fic, I had in mind just another anthology to showcase ideas I had that I know could never see the light of day as well as some of my favourite fics in the site. Now that I find myself here, the plot took a turn that I didn't think would reach where it is and so I am in need of your help, dear readers.

This story started out with Twilight seeking advice from her counterparts across the multiverse. Now, without giving much away, has slowly formed into a quest across the multiverse. Therefore I am debating if I should continue the series as it is (Title and synopsis and all) or ending it within a chapter or two to make way for a sequel now that the story has shifted.

This is where I need your help with. As it is, I am indecisive as to where this story should go and considering this is by far my most popular fic in the site, I thought I should let you guys tell me your thoughts, opinions and ideas as to where this should go. At this point, I'm only writing this as an obligation to continue what I've started and I thought it would be prudent if you folks could have a say in the matter.

Many thanks,
Joe.

I’d say continue the story as is for two more chapters and then add a epilogue of some sort to explain the shift from a story perspective.

Yeah. I would say at least keep it going for a few more chapters until the villainess has been beaten (with the help of as many surviving versions of Twilight and her friends as possible) and then include an epilogue to explain the shift from a story perspective.

About that. The Villain was the reason why I considered to make a sequel. Meaning if I go ahead with this sequel, the entire story will center around trying to stop her.

Yeah. Gotcha. It makes sense.

I vote sequel

I'd hate to see the villain plot be rushed just to fit the anthology style story telling of part 1

I believe a sequel is in order.

So then, Sequel it is. The readers have spoken.

Thanks very much. Of course, you COULD also just put Part One on Hiatus until AFTER the villain has been defeated, at which point you can get back to it and the Anthology style.

That would be something to consider, but we'll see how it goes first.
