I have a short happy music story to tell.
I got more adhd meds so I could focus on things I want to focus on and spent like 5 hours playing a cheap portable synth last night in the garage doing avant garde sustained 2 part through 8 or 9 voice jazz cluster chord barbershop-esque arranging of "Killing me softly"
And it was the most joy I've had composing in possibly a few years. It was magical :)
And I did my first acting gig in a couple months and changed my tire that was so worn metal wires were coming out and did some medical appointments and set more appointments and got a good deal on two used tires and the tire place loved my Portable elton john piano playing and now I'm reaching out to friends I've been too depressed to hit up. Feels good to feel good. Feels good to be able to get things done and focus on what I want to actually do.
How are all yall doing tonight? Drink plenty of water and those pre-made salad bags are better than no salad at all! Also making smoothies with frozen fruit is a great alternative to sweets for desert!
