I want to read a story where Earth's entire population ends up systematically turning into ponies, dragons, griffons, diamond dogs, yaks, zebra, seaponies, merponies, and all the rest... and how society and people evolve and adapt to this.

I remember coming across a story that did this to the EQG world... but I didn't put it in my favorites. Too bittersweet for me. Good quality otherwise, which makes it painful to admit that I've forgotten what it's called.
