I'm not trying to be ungrateful or anything, but I just wanted to know how I got so many views in two of my most recent blogs so quickly. Was it a prank? If so, who's doing it and why? Again, I only want to know how that happened.

Someone must have keep going to it, on purpose or accident. One user can add more than one view to a blog. I just tested by going out and back to this blog and the view rose

That is weird. Maybe people find what you had to say interesting? I have no idea how the views on the blogs work, to tell the truth. Honestly, I don't think this is a prank because if it was then the person doing it would've had said something about it by now. And because you don't know who's viewing your blog and who isn't I wouldn't worry about it so much but yeah that is a lot of views. Not even I get that many views on my blog!
Don't stress yourself out too much about it. You can't really do much about it if people are clicking on your blog to view it then it counts as a view. That's just all there is to it even if it is the same account that's doing it.

Other people have been reporting it as well. My guess is... either bots, or knighty published some changes to the code that broke the counter.
Yeah it seems I'm having that same issue now. I just published 3 of my stories and made a blog alerting people that I updated them and now it's got over a thousand views! And I only published it like a half hour ago! Like what the heck?
