Ok, I'm going to remember that as the worst half term that I've ever spent at school.

I don't go looking for trouble, but various teachers and students alike have done their best to get me in it. And then there's those who I ask for help, say they're going to do something and actually don't.

*sigh* I'm having a week off.

The UK education system is purely about control. When politics are taught, it's biased and doesn't allow students to form their own opinions. When it comes to uniform, it's unnecessarily strict even in public schools. When students excel, they're not told how to learn even more, what to learn, who to speak to, and they're deliberately held back so they don't "know too much." It's disgusting.

You want to hear it? Here it is. Sorry for the rant

• Trousergate, aka the school would rather students with genuine medical problems be in so much pain they can't concentrate than break their precious uniform policy.
• Another teacher's complaints about uniform, this time for not taking off my gloves (in the middle of the winter in England, a country with a notoriously freezing cold climate) the moment I step inside the building.
• Asking a teacher nicely to help me out with an annoying situation, only for him to completely forget about it for the third time.
• Pretty much the same thing happening again, only with another student.
• The school's totalitarian routine not doing anything good for my wellbeing
• The homework leading me to tears on more than one occasion
• Rumours being spread about me, saying I'm being horrible behind other students' backs. What a wonderful mess for me to sort out.
