Howdy hi!
If you didn’t know (because I did upload this story at like 4am, I uploaded a story called To Fight To Stay When You Should Move On (gates), which is a sequel to To Linger In A Place Where You Don’t Belong (fade). It’s pretty much a bit of a mindfuck, just like the first one, though it was really fun to write since it’s surreal and confusing and all over the place.
Anyway, I got to a real bad place yesterday and for some reason that means I wanted to draw some (fade art. Check it out:
In other news, I will once again plug the story I’m writing on my alt account because I have no shame:
It’s a human AU focused on Applejack and her rodeo career (and soon to be struggles) and her rivalry with Strawberry Sunrise and how that changes with circumstances. I’m having a lot of fun writing this one because it really just is an Apple Family story, and other than Applejack, none of the Mane Six are present. I have four pages worth of notes for the Apples (even if I won’t use everything I jotted down) and I created a family tree. It’s been a little while since the last chapter but it’s mostly cause I’ve been busy and also making all this info. Though there’ll be a new chapter soon, maybe this week but definitely next week if not.
As for stories here, I’ve obviously been pushing out silly little stories on here, but I’ve still got some bigger stuff in the works. Mainly, something I’ve been working on since the summer; an AppleDash fic (cause duh it’s me). It’s called Ice Road to Something More and its lookin’ to be cool and gay. And cold. Very cold.
I’ve also been chipping away at the sequel to Under The Light Of Dusk. That one’s taking me a bit longer cause I want to do it right. It’s definitely a bit of a tonal shift from the first one (which is.... very flawed) and focuses instead on the characters and how they are taking in the after effects. It’s more of my type of story: emotional hurt. Not sure about a time frame for that, but I think I’m going to follow with the UTLOD tradition of working on it for NaNo :>
I’m also working on a bunch of random other stories, but I won’t talk about those ‘til I’m sure that they’ll be done.
Personally, I’ve just started college. Living on my own in dorms and flooded with work. It’s overwhelming but I’m doing my best, so I’ve been a bit slow with writing. I try to get stuff out when I can, though. I hope it’s been alright considering they’re pretty rushed. Been kind of slipping out of my usual pace and wrote like three fluff stories in a row which is strange but I’m back in my comfort zone after (gates).

glad youre excited! It’s at about 35k words right now with twelve chapters, though there’s still a good chunk of stuff that hasn’t happened so it’ll be longer than that! I cannot wait to get it done, I’ve had the cover art done for MONTHS
