My Girlfriend Needs Help :( · 1:33am January 12th
Hey y'all, I know it's been a while since I've been active on here (and I do plan on coming back, don't worry). This is mostly due to being in my last year of college and dealing with burnout and insane schedules, but I've come back to ask for help on behalf of my girlfriend whom I love very much.
Long story short, it has been a very rough past couple of months for her, and apart from her personal life being hell and her getting very depressed again, this all somewhat snowballed into her failing a class because of the side effects of her anti-depressants. Then that snowballed into her having to pay $12,000 to retake that one class. It's explained more in detail in the fundraiser, but basically, she's an international student and things are crazy for international students.
To add to that, she got very sick at the end of the year and ended up with a $1,700 hospital bill she can't afford all for them to tell her to take over-the-counter medications.
$13,000 dollars is an insane amount of money to have to pay for these two things and an even more insane amount of money to ask for, which is why I'm delusionally hoping to raise half of that over the two accounts I run on opposite sides of Twitter, and anywhere else I use social media. But really, any amount will be less stress for her.

I am going to try to help her as much as I can, but I'm also in a rough financial position, so I am really hoping for the lovely folks I've met on the internet and even some kind-hearted strangers to help, too. Anything would be appreciated, even if all you can do is share the fundraiser.
I really don't want this to be the reason that she has to either leave home or... choose another way out. And I really do worry about both options. So please help me help her in any way you can.
I'm willing to do small sketch commissions for those who donate. Just send me proof, and I'll add you to a list. To be honest, I am extremely busy right now and I likely won't get to it in a timely manner but you'll have to just trust that I will get to it. I'm ready to do anything to help her.

Im so sorry this happened to her. I dont have money right now but if she still needs some down the road I'll look into. Keeping both of you in my thoughts
