Howdy.
Yup, I’m making some changes. As in, changes to how I do things around here.
I’ve always tried my best to have a story a month, and I’ve only failed at this once. Or I guess, twice now.
There will be no October story. That’s not to say I haven’t written anything this month. I’ve written almost 17k words for Reins. But I wasn’t able to complete my story for this account. I was real close, too. I just ran out of time.
As you know, I am in college right now. And it’s been so stressful. I don’t know how I’m gonna pass this year. But anyway, my point is that for the time being, I’m going to let the writing happen when it happens. If this means I’m able to write three stories in a month, then sick. If I can’t write anything, then that’s what happens. I am going to try to get NaNo done but I’m going to be writing Reins. Definitely not 50k, but I’ll be writing as much as I can.
Writing is supposed to be fun, and I do have fun writing, but trying to push out a story a month is kind of stressful. I’m sorry I am giving up again, but I’m doing this because I’m wearing myself thin.
I don’t consider this a failure. I wrote a lot. Just not on this account. But that in and of itself is me falling short. So I’m changing my goalposts here. I will write when I can and what I can. If it’s one a month then cool. If it’s not, then fine.
I will be trying.
