    New Story out now!

Hey everyone! Remember that thing I said I'd be doing a while back? Well... Here it is!

    TEvergreen Falls

    Hey guys! What's new?

So, I haven't been here in a good long while. I got the writing itch a while back, specifically for ponies and my old Betaverse fics. I might have something in the pipeline. I've got a few questions I'd like to ask the general pony-reading audience if you don't mind. Just so I can see if my writing style should be tweaked a bit for the modern audience.

    Stardrop's Lackluster Ending

Hello everyone. I know I've been away for a while, but that's due to me deciding to finish stories before I post them to revise, edit, and alter them to give you all better stories to read. I don't feel free to do so when I post stories live. This results in me getting frustrated with how a story is shaping up and then dropping it. That wasn't a problem when I was younger, but it's become one as

Anyone know artists who do illistrations for stories?

I'm low key working on a story which I intend to complete before posting. I'm enjoying being able to go back and improve, tweak, and change things to make the best possible version of the story, and it's nice to not feel like I am bound to a strict schedule of uploads.

A metatextual analisis of "The Bureau: XCOM Declassified" to show how it fits in the series timelines

A lot of people like the rebooted XCOM series, and a lot of people also insist its lore is bad/nonexistent. This isn't true in my opinion, but is the product of the game that sets up the world for the series having been released a year after the first game in the series as a prequel, and also it sucks ass to play. The Bureau: XCOM Declassified is not a good game. At all. The story is really good,

Okay I have a story idea / Unicode test · 10:05pm Sep 27th, 2021

I have a story idea. It involves the use of a conlang I made up. If I want to use it, I need to write it in either expanded English characters, or Ogham characters. So here's a test. Let me know if you see the weird lines or boxes, and what device you're reading on.

Works just fine.

I see them, Android phone.

iOS is happy with it, too.

Safari for iPhone (iPhone 8+) sees it just fine.

Moto g7 here - it rendered fine i think. I'll test on one of my Linux machines

Lines on PC running Windows 10 on Firefox here.

I would be interested to see if this makes any sense to my E-reader after being exported as an epub

Samsung phone, I don't see the empty boxes of death that usually note missed characters. No idea what it says, though.

PC google chrome.
Looks fine, though I have no idea what it may say.

5588248 It should, as long as the exporter uses unicode (it should). .epub supports UTF-8 by default so it can have a book in any language.

5588227 Does it look like a line crossed by slashes and short and long lines? If so, it worked.

PC, Chrome, and I see horizonal lines with slashes and little lines either hanging down or standing up from the horizontal lines.

5588284
just tested this and unfortunately that is a hard no all I get out of the the reader is the characters > < . I copy and pasted into google docs and then exported as epub

5588298 I did not have that problem. I used google docs and the "download as epub". I did use Calbre to open it however. What program did you use to read the epub file?

5588293 Looks like most devices can display it. Good!

5588322
Not a program but a Kobo Libra H20 dont worry im a very very edge case

Lenovo laptop, Windows 10, Chrome, looks just fine.

Just one problem... I lost my Ogham dictionary!! It was disposed of like everything else I owned!

My Android phone can read it, but not my tablet.

5588371 It wouldn't help, the text with english characters are:

Mbĩ yawlngã et měkpaw̃s mbĩ Tarawãg kpas ki liũ ĩkawp.
Samũmmã mbĩ Tarawãg ãyawl.
Mbĩ Tarawãg les mbě yogbyũ.
Ãyawl tet děrtuũngyũ aip.
Ĩmye kugb ãip ab ib sapip.
Dãm mã et yi bong ãyawl.
Ãkut du a gběd.
Mbě gig ngung su sě̃.

5588405
Did you SAY that or GARGLE it?

5588624
I'm more interested to know whether or not there's a bit of bitten-off tongue flopping loose on the floor somewhere.

5588624 it sounds pritty elegent when spoken, IMO. Have the IPA transcription and a recording.

/ᵐbĩ/ /jɔlᵑgã/ /et/ /ˈmɛk͡pɔ̃s/ /ᵐbĩ/ /ˈtarɔãg/ /k͡pas/ /ki/ /ˈliũ/ /ˈĩkɔp/ /samũmmã/ /ᵐbĩ/ /ˈtarɔãg/ /ãjɔl/ /ᵐbĩ/ /ˈtarɔãg/ /les/ /ᵐbɛ/ /jog͡bjũ/ /ãjɔl/ /tet/ /dɛrˈtuũᵑgjũ/ /aɛ̃p/ /ˈĩmje/ /kug͡b/ /ãɛ̃p/ /ab/ /ib/ /sapɛ̃p/ /dãm/ /mã/ /et/ /ji/ /boᵑg/ /ãjɔl/ /ãkut/ /du/ /a/ /g͡bɛd/ /ᵐbɛ/ /gig/ /ᵑguᵑg/ /su/ /sɛ̃/

Thank you, Meep. I have not heard any form of Celtic spoken in 40 years. Good to hear, just confusing to read.

5588705 It sound similar to cletic? Neat! I created this language from nothing more than the full set of sound humans can make using a simple AI engine :3
