The stories I'm still following have all but ceased to update, and others have skewed off into endless tangents that are leading nowhere fast.
What's new is... getting paper-thin. I've seen little worth a glance that makes it to the front page.
It was a good run, but there are seriously pressing matters far more important now than spending hours reading fanfiction based upon a toyline property, the owners of which seem intent on utterly destroying with increasingly banal and thoughtless woke trash, so repetitive and dull that one glimpse at a trailer and you can predict EVERYTHING that's going to happen, and know that it's going to happen in the worst possible narrative way and take a crap all over continuity, as these moron apparently DESPISE proper plotting and world-building... and characterization... and tone... and framing... and pretty much everything they USED to teach in screenwriting...
Most old franchise holders these days have taken up this race to the bottom (except for perhaps "Ghostbusters", seems Sony actually did learn something!).
Anywho, it was nice while it lasted, a fond diversion for the years when the madmen copying Chairman Mao in every way except name were still plotting beneath their rocks. Now that they've come out and MOST of the world is taking the blinders of fear off at last, it is my duty to bury these vile locusts again, as one of the few who was lying in wait for their emergence.

5584974 There's a single story that's updating regularly and appears to keep focus on a primary plot thread, but I'm not going to finish reading until it's completed. Wayyyyy too many really good ones have just died out. Others, like I mentioned, lost sight of any goal or direction and are just meandering about with chapters that don't really advance anything after 3-5 months of waiting.... despite being 9,000+ words per chapter long in one particular case. That gets exceedingly frustrating after a while. It gets to the point where I just skim the whole chapter in 5 minutes... and miss nothing of importance. It's not even purple prose or ridiculously drawn-out Naruto-style battles with 90% flashbacks, it's just... dithering. Running in place. The narrative is flat and dull, no characters develop, nothing is accomplished except some tasks for achievement, as if it were just a game. I finally dropped that one this week.
I may poke around for short stories, mainly ridiculous ones. I can't take anything regarding this show seriously anymore, not with what the franchise is turning into.

There's one that's been updating every week or two, where Twilight's a very cloistered over-powered witch, and Dash ends up as her hostage by being typical Dash. It's written well and quite funny at times. But it's also getting very long, and I don't have the time for the current 12 additional chapters.
I'm currently taking a little break after performing 11 consecutive surgeries on mouse knees. Yes, I am performing surgery on the knees of mice. You cannot imagine how stressful that is. If a 'Destroy the World' button appeared in front of me, I'd be slamming it right now, while laughing like Dio from "Jojo's Bizarre Adventure".

Likely won't be doing it much longer. The hospital is refusing pretty much all applications for religious exemptions, after a token application process which I knew was a farce all along.
The head of the hospital practically worships Biden and the creature Levine (the one who took its mother out of a nursing home before shoving COOF-infected patients into them... demonstrating clear premeditation.) and just sent out this nauseatingly gushing email about meeting Biden and talking with him and collaborating with the heads of massive global corporations on forcing more mandates. And yet says NOTHING about the HOARDS of people streaming across the border with ZERO testing, ZERO vaccination... all on Biden's watch. I also go a look at some vids snuck out of those meetings. When they didn't think the cameras were on them, NO MASKS IN SIGHT!! Hmm, almost like they don't believe any of the paranoia they're spewing. Actions speak louder than words, you know. Yeah... I'm about done with that place. I will not work for such hypocritical shills.
Yeah, I get where you're coming from. The official material has been utter garbage for years and basically nothing worth reading is being produced here any more so I'm honestly shocked I haven't moved on yet myself. Even with the total collapse of the entertainment industry, I would have expected to be drawn into something else by now.
