    The Arrowverse

To all you DC Comics fans out there, I’m sure you at least heard of the Arrowverse, a superhero media franchise that began with “Arrow” (starring Oliver Queen / the Green Arrow), before including “The Flash “, “Supergirl”, and more. I think it was a great and compelling journey alongside these heroes and their struggles not only against the villains but also the juggling of their lives, their

    Question regarding Horcruxes

JK Rowling imagined a vile concept for Voldemort, the main antagonist of her series, Harry Potter, as a means for him to achieve what he believed to be immortality due to his pathological fear of death - The Horcrux.

    Question

I have a question, and I would like to say, I ask this for clarification and intend no offense whatsoever.

In regards to the Singular They, which is typically used by people who identify as Non-Binary or otherwise, what word is acceptable in a sentence regarding an individual who goes by the Singular They?

'They are enjoying themselves' or 'They are enjoying themself'?

    A Weird Thing just happened...

Okay, so I'm on my computer, reading, when I hear a loud "POP/BOOM" sound in my house. I go to check it out... and I find out my two-liter of Cola just exploded in my pantry cupboard!

    I have no idea why!

I recently bought it, it wasn't shook, it was at room temp, I cannot, for the life of me, understand why this bottle of pop just popped!

Pony Variants: Storm Ponies · 4:52am Aug 6th, 2021

Storm Ponies

A Variant of the Three Pony Tribes, Storm Ponies are ponies infused with the power of Stormbreaker, a legendary alicorn warrior known as the Champion of Faust, as well as the one who taught the ancient pegasi the ways of the warrior, which led them to becoming more warlike than the other pony tribes in early pony history.

Stormbreaker himself kept to his Castle in the Clouds, making it a challenge for anyone (not just ponies) to find their way to his Castle and earn the honor and opportunity of becoming part of his force of elite warriors.

The ponies that rose to and succeeded in this challenge were infused with Stormbreaker’s unique magic, transforming them into Storm Ponies!

Though anyone who succeeds in making their way to the Castle in the Clouds earns the right to become part of Stormbreaker’s forces, they are warned that if they leave without permission they can never return nor will they ever find the Castle again.

Regardless, few of the Storm Ponies have willingly left Stormbreaker’s service and returned to their homes to reunite with their families and friends.

Storm Pony Magic is inherent to bloodlines but it thins with each generation, so the few Storm Ponies that left Stormbreaker and returned home died out, even though they left descendants behind.

It takes conditions unique to any descendant for them to unlock the Storm Magic within them, but very few are able to succeed.

A sure sign one is a Storm Pony is if their manes and tails flow and move like clouds and give off electric discharges.

Storm Magic
Every Storm Pony is infused with Stormbreaker’s magic, giving them some of his unique powers and abilities. Such as sensing and controlling weather with their will alone. Furthermore, all Storm Ponies (even the unicorns and earth ponies among them) can control weather and walk on clouds. This in turn allows Storm Ponies that are Earth Ponies or Unicorns to ride on clouds, allowing them to fly by directing the cloud they're riding on.

Electricity Manipulation
Storm Ponies are able to wield the natural force of Electricity. This allows them to absorb lightning to boost their powers or their energy, and release Electricity in a controlled manner, whether in controlled bursts or channeling it in the form of arcs of lightning.

They are immune to harm from natural electricity but are instead resistant to electricity from other sources.

Though they can absorb electricity, the individual Storm Pony can only hold so much before they must release it or risk losing control of it and becoming a danger to their surroundings and those around them. To avoid this, they can channel excess electricity into the ground, where it’s neutralized.

If a Storm Pony who is also an earth pony does this, their excess electricity, combined with their earth pony magic, energizes all nearby plant life, making them grow stronger and healthier (this led to the creation of Thunder Oak trees) while Storm Ponies that are unicorns can use excess electricity they absorb to boost the power of their spells.

Lightning Speed / Teleportation
All Storm Ponies possess Lightning Speed and the ability to teleport through lightning. Storm Ponies who are earth ponies and unicorns can move about with lightning speed but only in brief flashes, like a flash of lightning.

They call this art Flash Step, as in moving so fast with one step while at the same time covering their movements with a brief but blinding flash.

Storm Ponies can also teleport in the form of a bolt of lightning, appearing in and out of nowhere like a bolt striking down or launching skyward.

Storm Pegasi are able to fly so fast they look like streaks of lightning zooming across the sky.

Enhanced Strength, Reflexes, Senses and Stamina
Storm Ponies are energized by the Storm Magic given to them by Stormbreaker (or having inherited it from their ancestors), making them stronger, able to react quicker, sense their surroundings with a mild field of static electricity, and they can physically exert themselves longer than normal.

They can still tire themselves out with excessive use of their powers or prolonged physical exertion though they can revitalize themselves simply by sleeping or absorbing natural electricity.

I really like it.
If it's not a problem, i want to adapt this subrace for my D&D game.
By the way, found this image, and i thought it was pretty cool (But I don't know the Author.)

Virgil's a great character. "Bury the Light" is awesome. Of course, I'm thinking of the Virgil from Devil May Cry.

And I am happy to speak of it.

So, as I said, somehow I managed to persuade my friends to play Dungeons and Dragons 5e in the scenario of (a version of) Equestria, using the system rules and the work of some fantastic members of our community that had adapted the ponies and other species from the show for the game.

There are two great adaptations of Equestria for D&D; the first and one of the best is PONYFINDER, that (for commercial reasons) uses a scenario similar to equestria called EVEGLOW and even has almost any race you can think of and even a supplement for a version of Fallout: equestria. The name is because, at first, they made it for pathfinder, then adapted it for D&D. And one more thing, the author of the book is here, and I already read some of his fic's. They are pretty good.

And the second option is the best priced one (because it's free) is called "PLANESHIFT: EQUESTRIA", and it was also made by fans. It introduces the equestrian races, some classes and items etc...
If you want to take a look, HERE'S THE LINK.
As I said, pretty good for a free material, and they even play tested it.

Now, about the Storm Ponies and how I would introduce it in my campaign world; I would basically use the backstory you created, just adapting the (sub)race; bonus and all – maybe even using the template of the subrace called "Storm Genasi" as a base for it. (An race of elemental powered humanoids)

BUT, seeing how you wrote this part:

"Stormbreaker himself kept to his Castle in the Clouds, making it a challenge for anyone (not just ponies) to find their way to his Castle and earn the honor and opportunity of becoming part of his force of elite warriors.

The ponies that rose to and succeeded in this challenge were infused with Stormbreaker’s unique magic, transforming them into Storm Ponies!

Though anyone who succeeds in making their way to the Castle in the Clouds earns the right to become part of Stormbreaker’s forces, they are warned that if they leave without permission, they can never return nor will they ever find the Castle again. "

Maybe, just maybe, the storm ponies should be considered a class on themselves – a variant of the normal race, yes, but even so, a special and extremely rare class. The reason is that ONLY the best would manage to reach Stormbreaker's castle. So it's not like you could be born a storm pony, you have to earn it.

Maybe this is why this kind of pony is such an elite group.

By the way, if you want to talk about D&D (Or any kind of RPG), just say it. I'm always happy to talk about it. :pinkiehappy:
