    The Arrowverse

To all you DC Comics fans out there, I’m sure you at least heard of the Arrowverse, a superhero media franchise that began with “Arrow” (starring Oliver Queen / the Green Arrow), before including “The Flash “, “Supergirl”, and more. Question regarding Horcruxes

JK Rowling imagined a vile concept for Voldemort, the main antagonist of her series, Harry Potter, as a means for him to achieve what he believed to be immortality due to his pathological fear of death - The Horcrux.

    Question

I have a question, and I would like to say, I ask this for clarification and intend no offense whatsoever.

In regards to the Singular They, which is typically used by people who identify as Non-Binary or otherwise, what word is acceptable in a sentence regarding an individual who goes by the Singular They?

'They are enjoying themselves' or 'They are enjoying themself'?

    A Weird Thing just happened...

Okay, so I'm on my computer, reading, when I hear a loud "POP/BOOM" sound in my house. I go to check it out... and I find out my two-liter of Cola just exploded in my pantry cupboard!

    I have no idea why!

I recently bought it, it wasn't shook, it was at room temp, I cannot, for the life of me, understand why this bottle of pop just popped!

The Arrowverse · 1:17pm Oct 2nd, 2023

To all you DC Comics fans out there, I’m sure you at least heard of the Arrowverse, a superhero media franchise that began with “Arrow” (starring Oliver Queen / the Green Arrow), before including “The Flash “, “Supergirl”, and more. I think it was a great and compelling journey alongside these heroes and their struggles not only against the villains but also the juggling of their lives, their highs and lows, and how much they suffered yet overcame, so that in the end they would always save the day.

I was sad that it ended, but so did FiM. Every story has a beginning and an end. But I admit that there was more I wished we could have seen in the Arrowverse. Like… if I had gotten to add another hero to the Arrowverse, it would’ve been Zatanna, the backwards spelling stageshow sorceress!

I became more appealed to Zatanna in the “Young Justice” cartoon, as well as her father Zatara, and the other magical characters and elements. So… if they had added Zatanna to the Arrowverse I think a good direction would have been for Zatanna to find her father missing and discover the truth of her father’s life as a stageshow magician being a cover for his actual life as a wizard hero. She finds that she has magic herself but her parents hid them from her so as to give her the safety and comfort of a normal childhood. But now, with her father gone Zatanna inadvertently unlocks her magic and accidentally gets entangled in a conflict that’s been raging for centuries.

As Zatanna learns how to use her magic, she makes allies as well as enemies.

Like Sebastian Faust, who is hunting his evil father Felix Faust.

Daniel Cassidy, an aspiring filmmaker who messes with the wrong kind of magic, turning him into the Blue Devil, becoming a demon but retaining his human soul.

Greta Hayes, the spirit of a girl in a coma, trying to learn the secret of why she can’t return to her body, which lies in a coma and how she wound up this way.

Traci Thurston, a girl seemingly cursed with bad luck when she turned 13 but it turns out to be her magic out of control.

Madam Xannadu, a gypsy fortune teller who becomes a mentor to Zatanna.

Kent Nelson, an older gentleman who helps Zatanna and seems to know more than he’s letting on about magic.

Richard Occult, a detective who becomes their main ally in law enforcement.

They would face bad guys, of course, like…

Felix Faust, a power-hungry magician.

Jinx, a young lady witch with similar magic to Traci’s.

Billy Hayes, a dreaded serial killer who enjoys bringing harm to his victims using a frightening magical weapon

June Moon, an archaeologist who is driven mad by dark magic, and becomes a wicked Enchantress

The demon Doctor Destiny, perhaps posing as a wealthy businessman

And finally Klarion the Witch-Boy, seeking to have all the chaotic fun he likes.

It’d be like a mix of “Sabrina the Teenage Witch”, “Charmed” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” with a superheroic formula, mixing in the comical elements of the original Sabrina tv show along with the human struggle that was part of the original Charmed, and the grim action of Buffy. These magical heroes would struggle, fall but ultimately rise and triumph… and join together as the Sentinels of Magic!

What do you think?
