Ok everyone, it's been a while since I updated anything and I think I owe you all an explanation.
It's been a trying couple of months, so much so that I have a backlog of stories I haven't had a chance to read. First, thanks to the microship shortage my hours have been cut AGAIN and so I have had to increase my time at my second job. That was bad, but nothing compared to what happened next. My mom, who had been with this guy for 17 years, came home to find him packing up his stuff and was going to leave without a word. Naturally, she has been heartbroken. She even had to sell the cottage they made together. To make it even worse, she has had to get her chemo treatment. I have been there for her as much as I can and she is doing better.
Hopefully, I will be able to start writing and reading again.

The movies show families growing closer together when there's a crisis. Unfortunately, that doesn't always happen in real life.
