Why do I always think of ideas like these so late? Been so long, I've forgotten why, I guess. What would younger me in 2017 say to me now? Have I gone soft?
Admittedly, I was never big on the G1 of MLP, since it doesn't exactly have the appeal that G4 has that makes us...bronies enough. But, working with Mechazilla on our Power Princess story with these classic characters have started to grow on me.

At one point, our masked, mysterious, caped crusader goes to the human world for Sci-Fi Twi and Sunset Shimmer's help on a case. But she's hit a crash course and landed in "Paradise Estate" where she meets Megan, Danny, and Molly.
The three children offer to help their new eccentric vigilante friend find the answer to crack the case she's on, involving a G1 bad guy, but not Tirek, or the Smooze?
How very interesting
Fascinating.
Sounds very promising. I'd love to see how that turns out.
Bet there's going to be a whole lot of G1 MLP references on this adventure, eh?
Here's a possible idea: Grogar (the real one) as this could be a very good set-up for Grogar becoming the hybrid of Taurus Bulba (criminal mastermind with a major grudge against the main hero) and F.O.W.L. High Command (clandestinely organizing pretty much all the non-reformed villains into a cohesive unit).
