2024 – The Year of the Wood Dragon

So, I've just recently learned that this Year of the Dragon will be the focus of the "Wood Dragon!" Not to mention Keanu Reeve's year. Yeah! Amazing! Keanu Reeve's a dragon too!

But I've recently learned that while the Year of the Dragon cycle happens every 12 years, a particular element is observed every 60 years!

• Wood Dragons – 1964 to 2024 – Keanu Reeves
• Water Dragons – 1952 to 2012
• Metal (Gold) Dragons – 1940 to 2000 – Bruce Lee! Chuck Norris!
• Earth Dragons – 1928 to 1988
• Fire Dragons – 1916 to 1976

That means, the next Year of the Dragon in 12 years will be:

• Fire Dragon in 2036
• Earth Dragon in 2048
• Gold Dragon will be in 2060
• Water Dragon in 2072.

Thanks for letting us know about these "Dragon Years". I didn't know Lee and Norris were Gold Dragons. Maybe born in a year of the Dragon (which just makes Bruce Lee's nickname "the Dragon" make even more sense), but not Gold Dragons.
