PSA for Weekend With The Dragon Lord

So I had today off from work, and I had wanted to spend nearly all of it if possible working on that new cover art for "Weekend With The Dragon Lord" that I keep talking about. But I also woke up with a mild cold this morning and wasn't feeling up to doing anything for most of today except binge-rewatch the Slow-Mo Guys on YouTube, so that hasn't happened quite like I'd hoped. Additionally, I discovered today while doing what little work I have been able to do on said cover that one of my inking pens has developed a problem with its nib, which I might be able to fix, but don't know yet. The pen still works, but it's made it a bit trickier to use properly, and so until I come up with a working solution for this, this might also affect work on said cover art, seeing I haven't finished inking the line art yet. Worse comes to worse, I can just finish that digitally, and as I color most of my pics digitally anyway, that would just be one extra step to that process...but we'll see.

Nevertheless, what I have finished of the cover art thus far is already looking pretty good, so I'm still confident the final art will be a definite step-up from the temporary cover I have been using for the fic currently. It's just a matter of time now.

Also concerning "Weekend With The Dragon Lord," I had also mentioned going back and adding in some previously cut content after the contest was over, and that's still the plan too. However, I had expected the judging to have taken far longer than it ultimately did, much less that it would be complete before I had even finished the new cover art, but it has, so I figure I'll kill two birds with one stone and add that in the same time I upload the new cover art, so be on the look out for that then.

Anyway, just an FYI in case anyone was wondering.
