[GENERAL] All the dirty plans! And the schemes! · 7:13pm Apr 2nd, 2021
This is more just a post to let people know I'm actually active in getting my fics finished, rather than just a brief spurt of creativity before going quiet again. Yes, I've done that, and I don't like being "that one author I used to read their stuff."
I do still want to dip back into this world, as it's the foundation of a lot of my ideas for different characters, such as Agents of S.M.I.L.E. and related concepts in my various writing worlds. For the moment, it's just still kinda "on the wall" until I get some sort of inspiration.
LLW and its two sequels are still "in the pipeline" but for the moment they've been edged out by other works that are, honestly, a bit more important to me. While LLW was (and is) intended as a way for me to vent, a la "catharsis," about my divorce, it is, at its core, an entirely selfish endevor. It's up to my personal standards of quality, which means I still consider it "good," but I don't think people will quite connect with it in the same way they've connected with Empire.
This one and another that I haven't even published a chapter on are going on the "back burner" until I can restructure my Patreon and other assorted ways of turning my little writing hobby into something that actually produces income.
This one remains on the list of active projects only because it was voted on by the Swarm. My ideas for it are appropriately "epic" and I'd love to see this out in the wild, but it'll definitely be after my other projects are managed. (considering some of the ideas for this have been percolating in my creative juices since the end of Season 2, I'm not worried about losing steam on this one)
Now the juicy bits that most of my readers care about - My Empire of Dirt has a mere 4 chapters left...though as stated in a previous blog post that might wind up being 5 by the time I'm done. I'd like to get those hammered out in the next 1-2 months to clear the decks for...

Yes, the Christmas Special for 2020 did, indeed, get delayed to 2021, but mostly because of burnout rather than any story complexity or anything like that. It's a pretty straightforward story, but I needed to be able to wrap up some plot threads with a bow and I didn't have the creative juices spare until recently to really get this one going. It's going to be fun, and hopefully not as hard of the feels as the other entries in the Empire series. 
I do like Empire quite alot. Lost little wolf is also a favorite.
