An official apology on the lack of updates for Finding Friendship. · 9:00am Feb 1st, 2021
Howdy, folks. I'm sure a few of you have noticed a distinct lack of updates for Finding Friendship by now, the last update being almost two months ago by this point.
This is an apology for that. A combination of real-life factors (that I won't go into here) and a bit of writing burnout are the culprits at play. It doesn't help that I've been struggling with exactly what to do for Chapter 44. I haven't been sure if I should follow up on some of the fallout of Twilight's... less than admirable behavior as of late, or if I should just get on with it and continue setting up for the endgame.
I've decided to just get on with it and continue setting up for the endgame.
I even have decently-sized chunks for the next two chapters written, as well as a general roadmap for where to go from there. This unintentional hiatus will end before the end of February, I promise.
Thank you all so much for your patience, and thank you again for reading along with this tale I've been telling. It really does mean a lot.
Have a good day, a nice evening, and a pleasant tomorrow.
don't worry about it, real-life takes precedent first.
It's also the same for me, school has been grating away at my time to write, and my story has gone two months without an update.
:)
No worries, Your real life will always take precedence over fanfictions.
And at least for me, to be honest, I have a tendency to read so much that I sometimes forget that such and such a story even exists between updates and depending on how long it's been I can pick it back up with a feeling of excitement. Two months is practically nothing on this website.
Thanks for the update, hopefully we'll get to see how things go from here (especially for Spike) when you come back.
Take care of yourself!
life can happen and a good story takes time to do
I've been burnout before. I get it. Take your time and good luck!
I've been enjoying the audiobook while I patiently wait for the next chapter.
