Still not dead, thanks c: · 4:55am Jan 19th, 2021
hello loyal readers :o
as of late december, i have finally graduated from college! i have gotten my teaching license and am looking for my first teaching job. it was a long journey (i was in community college for too long, paying out of pocket made it take so much longer, oof) but it's surreal that it's all behind me now. im hoping to get a call this week from a local junior high, so keep your fingers crossed!
im looking foreword to getting back to some leisurely writing, my issue with Family Tree atm is that i know how the ending is going to go, i've even starting writing it, but getting from this point in the story (1 week prior to Nightmare Night in the story's timeline) to the climax is proving to be a little daunting. nothing i write seems to spark the writing passion in my brain like the ending does. when the next chapter gets released, it will be up to my standards, but it's just not quite there yet. (i feel like i've said something like this before, but it still remains true D:)
so i say now, thank you for being so patient, and sticking with me when i needed to put my education first. i want to finish Family Tree and start it's shorter sequel story more than anything, so i ask all of you to be patient just a little bit longer.
as for my other stories, i do intend to keep writing and eventually finish Once Upon a Harvest Moon, and maybe later finally write all the little stories i've come up with over the last few years. but Family Tree is coming first, priority-wise. so look out for that!
