Family Tree chapters 29 & 30 are almost done being edited, and I want to release them together, maybe a day or two apart to give people to digest and comment on 29 first.

i've mentioned it before, but the gap between now and Nightmare Night is killing me, its all original story that i haven't been carefully planning for years now (save for one scene) and i can't help but feel insecure about it.

i still have a couple of crucial scenes to write on the latest chapter of Family Tree, and it's already at over 8,000 words. i know that's not all that long in retrospect, but the average FT chapter is usually around 5k so it feels very wordy to me.

as of late december, i have finally graduated from college! i have gotten my teaching license and am looking for my first teaching job. it was a long journey (i was in community college for too long, paying out of pocket made it take so much longer, oof) but it's surreal that it's all behind me now. im hoping to get a call this week from a local junior high, so keep your fingers crossed!

I'm in the full swing of student teaching right now, and while I have it easier than some of my fellow student teachers, I'm still doing my fair share of work. I do have a bit of spare time, but that is currently being eaten up by trying to deal with an amended return with the IRS, and doing some writing for original stuff.

about to upload the newest chapter with a little more editing

some crazy stuff goes down this chapter, and the launch into a new part of Moony's life and the trials she faces with her magic and how she will use it to help others.

i've added the appropriate warning filters, though i was a bit hesitant about using the non-consensual filter for chapter one, seeing as most stories that use it are more...purposefully graphic, if you catch my drift.

yesterday (roughly) i finished up the new FT chapter, today i did a different art thing and did a digital color of a Weavy drawing i did a while ago

her hair was more orange-ish originally, before i realized that "red hair" might not mean the same thing to ponies, plus i think it still looks good.
