Bit of a conundrum since I'm not entirely sure what the fandom does when an author writes a clopfic pertaining to a story in progress. Do the readers decide if it's canon? Does the author? What will Twitter say?? What will TUMBLR say?! WHAT WILL MY MOTHER SAY
The smuttery in question does take place maybe 4-5 chapters ahead of where the story currently is now, however I've read it over a few times and I don't believe it to contain significant spoilers beyond. Nothing that gives the plot away or any parts of the mystery. Upload? No upload? Wait? Do it now?
I guess you would know best seeing as you atually know what is coming up haha. As a note it might be a bit weird if it occurs somewhere we haven't reached in the main story yet. 4-5 chapters is a while to leave it sitting around though so if you feel it works now then go for it

Haha yeah, I went ahead and pulled the trigger. Insofar as spoilers go, I'm not particularly specific on any details that occur between now and when the sidestory happens. The most information readers would get is that certain characters are in different locations.
I made sure not to specify why or what they're doing and there shouldn't be enough clues for anyone to reasonably figure out. <3

Hmm. Being as I am a: interested but b: not wanting spoilers and particularly c: tired and wanting to get things on FIMFiction squared away so I can go to bed, I think that I'll skip this for now. However, would you mind making another blog post notifying us when the main story catches up to this? And if not, would you please do so? I hope this isn't a bother and sorry if it is; it's also not perhaps my most coherent, but see "tired" above.
