Whoo! Talk about a popular poll! The Patreon Commission Story Poll officially ended just before 2021, and had a total of 144 votes counted overall! There was some tight competition, but the winning entry had a total of 38 votes (just four ahead of the second-place finisher). And what story ended up being the winner?
Game Night 2 - Discord hosts his second session of Ogres and Oubliettes, this time at Canterlot Castle. Even though Spike is now a Royal Advisor, and Big Mac is happily married, the two were more than happy to play another rousing game with the naughty draconequus. But this time around, there's a couple new players being added to their quest; and furthermore, the group must face an even larger threat than before: a bunch of burly, horny dragons protecting their treasure~
That's right! After many months, the popular clopfic Game Night is finally getting a proper sequel! I already plan to have some new characters added to this quest, although I'm deliberating who would be good choices for this particular story. Current options include Sunburst, Pharynx, Braeburn, Shining Armor, Stygian, and Zephyr Breeze. I'm only going to choose two of the guys for this story, but who knows? I'm certainly curious to hear who you guys want to see participate in Discord's naughty game~
And for the Randomizer poll that was also held in December, I'm happy to say that I got quite a selection from the list of Patrons and donors! And the final results came with this as January's premiere Randomizer fic:

Hmmm... well,he could certainly be an interesting choice. It all depends on who my readers wanna see most~
shining armor for sure, and braeburn is always up for sexy times hehe
I'm kind of up for like some new faces? All of those stallions are used a lot ( I'm really over how much shining armor appears, stygian is barely a character to me and zephyr and sunburst I just do not like), though pharynx is alright (for sure my favorite of the bunch). One Idea I might suggest maybe is when you look at the original dungeons and discord episode pinkie and rainbow join in near the end. Maybe you could involve them, but maybe roleplaying as their male version? I know the show kind of lacks males, but like putting characters in just cause they're a canon male character just to have them in like does nothing for me as a clop story or other wise because the character itself is what gets me invested in the sex/plot. I don't really care to see sunburst fucked because I don't care about him nor do I find him attractive (goatees man :P )
I feel like either way, it should be characters who would make sense to be friends with big mac and spike. As much as i'm over so much shining armor (I know you love him a lot but he has appeared a lot lately...not that spike hasn't but,) at least he makes sense to be in the game. The others less so, especially stygian. IDK those are my two cents sorry if I'm coming across as sour, I was just looking forward to a concept I was more into, but like none of the guys listed do much for me.

Well, to be fair, I have ideas for how each additional character could be added:
Shining Armor - Obviously works since he's Spike's brother; although, he might turn down the invitation if Discord is there (since he caused Sombra to take over the Crystal Empire).
Braeburn - He's Big Mac's cousin, and openly gay (ay least in my headcanon).
Sunburst - He knows Spike as a friend, and is most-likely an O&O fan himself.
Zephyr Breeze - Discord invites him as an obligation for Fluttershy's sake.
Pharynx - Spike asks Thorax, but he sends in his brother so he can better socialize with others.
Stygian - Similar to Pharynx, Spike might invite him so he can adjust to modern friend groups. Plus, Stygian likely has experience in quests similar to their game.

Well yes, you could make most of them work from a lore stand point (Though I would argue sunburst barely interacts with spike in the show and more is a friend of a friend (starlight and twilight) then really a friend to spike). But from a character stand point, I guess I mostly question stygian the most. He has very little known personality and would feel like a token inclusion. Pharynx I think is the one that would work the best with the story for a few reasons. Being a changeling, playing a role would be natural to him, and the part about spike inviting thorax makes total sense. Like that's a great hook for him getting together with them.
Breaburn is valid he just doesn't really do much for me in terms of how he would interact with the others in the group. He would just kind be another body. Suburst and zephyr would work...I just really can't stand either of them at least in a porn situation.
Shining armor does make sense but I would also agree with him wanting to turn down the invite. I'm mostly just hoping for less shining for a bit personally.
I think the thing is most of Spike's closer friends in the show tend to be girls, Smolder, Ember, starlight etc. But yea I do like the idea of pharynx a lot, I just also would like some new faces. I think every one here (except zephyr maybe) has appeared in your story before and it might not be a bad idea to try some other characters...but I will also admit the show doesn't really give us a lot to work on sadly. But I would like to see more species maybe, like someone like capper, or gallus though I know he's also over used.
I dig the choices for games night. Maybe have some of the pillars in there as well. Flash Magnus doesn’t get enough love. And you play something out of their comfort zone like a wizard or a bard, considering their both basically fighters
