Hello again readers of Secret of the Pies, so I said in the author's note of Chapter 3 that the 17-day gap between the release of Chapters 2 and 3 would hopefully be an outlier. Well, we're now 17 days removed from Chapter 3's release and Chapter 4 most likely isn't getting finished today, so... yeah.
The reason for this? I've been working heavily on Magical Mission: Portal to a New Home. The thing is, the next story I'm due to begin writing after Magical Mission ends is one I've really been looking forward to, and have been looking forward to it for a long time. So, with that, and with Magical Mission being much closer to its end than Secret of the Pies, it only made sense I'd give the former priority.
I do hope to give more writing time to Secret of the Pies, though. It's not like I'm going to abandon it; hell no. I love Secret of the Pies and am excited to keep writing it. The problems facing its progress are work on Magical Mission and the other things I like to do in the night, then even after Magical Mission is over, my enthusiasm for story #8 is what it is, so... 
Don't worry, Secret of the Pies lovers. The story isn't being cancelled; heck, I don't even want to give it the "on hiatus" status. Hopefully I can buy enough time to write more of Chapter 4 tomorrow. I will commit to trying my best. Let's go, because I love writing it!
