NaNoWriMo has been completed! · 5:32am Dec 1st, 2020

With about 4 minutes to spare, I have finished NaNoWriMo 2020 at a whopping 50,050 words written over the course of the month. I literally spent every day of this month writing something, and though my intention was to work on my story, Make Love, Not War, I know my creativity too well. That's why the NaNo project was called "Make Love, Not War (and other stories)." Now here's a rundown of what stories I worked on, and more importantly: how much of Make Love, Not War got done:

Stories Completed:

  • A X O L O T L (Gravity Falls crossover) - 2,556 words
  • A Catra in Cardboard (She-Ra and the Princesses of Power) - 1,489 words
  • A Toasty Marshmallow - 1,664 words
  • Chocolate Heart (#) - 1,596 words
  • Diamonds - 1,253 words
  • Face Your Fears - 1,499 words
  • First Step (#) - 2,103 words
  • Garden of Sappho (Batman: The Animated Series) - 1,685 words
  • Hero's Reward (#) - 2,680 words
  • How It All Started - 1,955 words
  • Incentives - 1,597 words
  • Love and Peace - 2,368 words
  • Shifting Tides - 2,844 words
  • Ships in the Night - 1,885 words
  • Somewhere Only We Know - 2,991 words
  • The Artifact - 3,192 words

Stories Started:

  • A Refined Autumn - 952 words
  • Change of Heart - 1,514 words
  • Snow Across Equestria - 2,338 words
  • That Time Applejack was an Etherian Princess (She-Ra and the Princesses of Power crossover) - 2,240 words
  • The Apple Tap - 1,495 words

And now, the moment you've all been waiting for.
Make Love, Not War chapter progression:

  • Chapter 2 - Finished (1,264 words)
  • Chapter 3 - Completed (3,400 words)
  • Chapter 4 - Completed (2,751 words)
  • Chapter 5 - Started (279 words)

My thank you to everyone who encouraged me through this herculean effort. I intend to get the majority of these editied/finished and published throughout December. Those marked with a (#) will unfortunately not be published due to their content. For A Catra in Cardboard and The Garden of Sappho, please keep an eye on my Offprint page for those stories.

Last of all, allow me to congratulate all of those who were able to complete NaNoWriMo this year. I know firsthand how difficult fifty thousand words can be. And to those of you who weren't able to finish, I congratulate you as well for putting forth the effort - there's always next year!

Merry Jinglemas all, and to all a good night.

-yours truly,
