Recording a Reading · 10:40pm Oct 19th, 2020
Here's something:
I've been wanting to try for a couple years now.
It could use a little more polishing, I'm sure, but I've made a recording of myself reading "Funatics," one of my Baal Bunny stories from 2014. I really had no choice after realizing that the trombone and piccolo bits from the first movement of Dmitri Shostakovitch's Ninth Symphony would be the perfect theme music...

I always thought you'd sound more like Illya Leonov. :O I guess not everyone can!
This is a great recording, you've got such a natural reading cadence, and the music is a fantastic touch. :D

Thanks!
Like I said, it was the music that made me decide to give it a try. I'll hafta see if there's any other music out there that goes with any of my other stories.

I like to say I have a face made for radio and a voice made for print. You have a very nice voice, and did a good job with the sound fx.
That was very well done. I'd gladly listen to another fifty stories read like that.
Oh, very nice; thank you, and well done. :)
